This is a 1950 Russian. I’ve had it for about 12 years and maybe put 150 rounds through it. I did the conversion myself last summer. I put about 50 rounds through it after. It did not run flawlessly. I think the mags were not seating properly and caused it to jam. I filed down 2 of them and it seemed to run better. The gun was also dirty when I shot it the first time. I have since cleaned it and lubed it up nicely. I haven’t shot it since. It should run better now but the other 2 mags may need to be filed down a bit. This gun would be best for someone who is not afraid to do a little gunsmithing. It is a blast to shoot! This rifle cannot be converted back to take original SKS mags. It has been modified to accept the MagWedge adapter

I’m definitely on the fence about this one, I have a Left Handed Browning medallion Xbolt in 30-06. I bought it used. I haven’t sighted it in a shot a few rounds through it but that’s about it. As for the condition, it’s definitely seen some use, it’s the way I got it when I bought it. I’ll probably give it a 7/10. The only reason why I’m considering selling is I have another rifle project, im looking to fund. Looking to part with my beautiful Browning BLR 81L Long Action in 7mm Rem Mag. Serial # trace sets it as manufactured in 1993. Heavy steel receiver and made in Japan. You may find the odd minor blemish here and there on the stock if you look really, really hard. But the stock and bluing is near perfect top to bottom. Slight discoloration on the side of the bolt as shown in the photos. I bought this rifle at a gun show a couple years back and don't know who the first owners were. I had plans of topping it with an optic but have not purchased one for it (just the bases). I have put 38 rounds down range over the past 4 years with the irons. Always cleaned and lightly oiled after each use. It is hard to believe this rifle is 33 years old. I just don't love the lever action as much as I thought I would, and I'm looking to change to a bolt action in a different caliber for my future intentions. Brand new Partial Length Picatinny/ACOG rail, 3 inches long and sits at the back part of the dust cover for a rear bias. It is the perfect length for red dot or holographic sights. It weighs 5 ounces/141g. The AK Master Mount™ patented optic mounts are unique and purpose built products for serious users. They are built as rugged as the rifle itself. It's low profile with a low axis over bore. It also has a unique quick release "Dual Axis Locking" lever and a “2 in 1” top rail design that can accommodate picatinny or ACOG based optics. Made in the USA. Dual-Axis Locking AK optic mounts secure to an AK receiver’s side rail by one of two main methods. The first method uses a rotating lever that has a contoured portion to rotate and lock into a corresponding cut-out in the side rail. Many of the traditional com-bloc optic mounts utilized this design and are broadly referred to as SVD styled mounts. This method is primarily securing the optic mount in the horizontal axis. The second method utilizes a rotating lever to deform the bottom part of the mount to “crimp” onto the side rail. These mounts are not really quick release despite their labeling as such, and this mount deformation makes it difficult to resize the mount to a different side rail on a different rifle. The more modern approach to this method is to use the rotating lever to manipulate a spring loaded clamping bar to compress against the receiver’s side rail to make it quick release capable. These style mounts are prone to “walking” along the side rail with heavy shooting sessions as they only secure the optic mount in the vertical axis. These two techniques have been combined in a patented design to firmly secure our optic mount to an AK’s side rail in both the vertical and horizontal axis to make it Dual Axis Locking. This secure attachment maintains optics zero even with sustained heavy shooting sessions. The clamping bar is also longer than the other optics mounts on the market to provide additional clamping surface contact, and two springs are used in the clamping bar mechanism for increased clamping bar stability and true quick release capability. Low Axis Over Bore The optic mount's low profile hugs the side of the AK receiver and the dust cover to deliver a low axis over bore placement. This allows simultaneous use of the rifle's iron sights if needed. The 12 sided proprietary locking bolt provides for a greater clamping bar tension range, twice that of most optic mounts on the market. I picked this up a while ago and have never used it. It was going to be my bug out gun but life changes and i need to downsize my collection. There is some pitting on the receiver. Bubbad metal work to fit the mag. Rifling looks good. Wartak skar sd-r scope rail. And AR magwell adapter. There is a bit of finish work that needs to be done. The ammo stovepipes unless you put a shim behind the mag then it cycles fine. Might be an easy fix if you have the right tools. Topped with a Burris fullfield 3-9x40 at the moment. $1500 for the rifle, magwell, rail and scope. 1500rd crate of Chinese corrosive. extra $500.
