This is a 1940 Ishapore made No 1 MK111 ( not a MK111*) with mag cutoff and period correct RFI stamped bayonet. The hardware and wood set is good to excellent condition ( for an 84 year old rifle) and as far as I can tell, completely original from the factory. Bolt, receiver, Barrel, rear sight and nose cap are all matching numbers. The magazine isn't matching numbers but is RFI stamped. The bayonet is the short 12 inch "Indian Pattern" which I believe is a 1943 made bayonet. There are some visible repairs to the butt stock, maybe field repairs or post military use - I don't know. I can't make out the markings on the underside of the butt stock but it doesn't appear to be English or Latin script, possibly Punjabi, Bengali or Burmese. The barrel is probably nearing the end of it's life but I have taken this rifle to the range numerous times and it shoots fine with pretty good accuracy at 100 yards. I didn't really want to sell this one as it's a great historical piece, but I need to reduce the amount of Rifles and spare parts I have. Not sporterized and not refurbished!, original WW2 configuration purchased from a seller in Quebec asking $2500 o.b.o. located in Windsor Ontario Canada. And yes it is still a tack driver!. As far as I know everything that I bought is all WW2 parts that came with this rifle and was issued, this thing was there!, where I don't know!. WW2 Canadian history!, unfortunately the Veteran/Hero who was issued this is unknown. I tried to get some info from the seller but to no avail he did not have any further information. Maybe the serial # might add some future light to this relic of a darker time in world history if researched further.

This is Dottie. She is honestly the sweetest and gentlest pup I’ve had in 3 litters. I’m not sure why but all of her siblings were taken to good families except her. I kept her because she deserve to be loved and to also have the opportunity to find her family and furever home. Dottie listens to commands well. She is obedient and her bark packs a punch. It’s more bark than bite of course. She loves cuddling and playing in the yard with the other dogs. She also loves baking treats in the kitchen with me (she’s mainly there for the peanut butter). Dottie will grow to a mid size dog. She will probably at this point become thicker than taller. Dottie is a smart cookie for sure. That’s the border collie in her. I have both her parents and they are grown dogs, happy, healthy and very intelligent. The apple hasn’t fallen far from the tree. Without a doubt we have fallen in love with her but unfortunately can’t keep her. It will be tough to say goodbye however we are hopeful that the right family is out there looking for her too.
