Howdy Townpost! I've got a nice little uncommon and good condition subcompact Remington for sale now! This started its life as a Remington Model 1865 New Model Police as a cap and ball percussion revolver in .36 caliber. Many of these were never percussion guns as they existed in a weird transition period. And Remington made some of them from the ground up as cartridge guns. This one most likely was in inventory as a percussion revolver and was turned into a .38 rimfire cartridge revolver based on the serial number, in my opinion. These are one of the more rare and lesser known Remington cap and ball guns that were made. Remington only made 18,000 between 1865 and 1873. So they are relatively uncommon and scarce gun today. This is actually my personal favorite model of Remington percussion revolver they're a very handy subcompact-sized gun by today's standards they're bigger and much more comfortable in the hand in the grip than the pocket models but nice and light unlike the full size military .44s and they point very naturally. This particular example is in very good condition the nickel is a very high percentage of coverage some of the original silver plate is still visible on the trigger guard and some of the low areas. The color case hardening is still very colorful and defined on the hammer (pictured). The grips have been refinished but they are the originals. The wood grain is very interesting and beautiful in my opinion. The bore is in excellent condition especially for a Civil War era black powder firearm. This was likely carried in a police officer's holster and not fired much. It was well taken care of and the clean and good condition bore and chambres are reflection of that. The the mechanical function of this firearm is excellent as well. When I got the firearm it was actually in amazing condition to begin with and the mechanical function was perfect. It locks up and times perfectly. The hammer and the trigger pull are very crisp, light and smooth. And didn't require any adjustment, Remington did the job and they did it right the first time. The entire revolver has been taken apart and given a gunsmith's cleaning and was reassembled and lightly oiled. I came across a nice little Hunter leather holster at a gun show and found that it fit this gun very well so it's included as a freebie with the gun (pictured). The revolver is located in Calgary AB for local delivery or pickup. Or I can ship it nationwide too.

Selling/trading a Winchester Model 1906 pump action .22. Stamped for short, long and long rifle. Made in 1913, barrel shortened to 19". Steel has turned to a dark patina throughout, has some black residue on parts of the barrel. Wood stocks are in good shape, one pin through the wrist which is solid. Bore shows some wear but is in shootable shape. Has iron sights that aren't original to the gun. These guns can be finicky with feeding and cycling and given its age it will be sold as is with no warranty or guarantees. Looking for $550 shipped. Insurance by request on buyer. Open to all trades. Browning 1885 in 30-06. 28 inch octagonal barrel. Made in 1998. Beautiful walnut with amazing fiddleback. The Browning high gloss finish shows something different at each angle. Never hunted with. Less than 10 shots ever fired. Excellent condition with fantastic wood.  Comes with the Talley base and rings in order to mount a scope. Scope not included. Cost on these parts alone is over $250 and they are hard to find. Does not come with the original box. It will ship in a hard case at no extra cost. The Browning 1885 is a fairly rare gun in general and it is very rare in 30-06. The most common high wall is in 45-70 which is traditional but no longer a proper hunting chambering in a very long barrel rifle given the effective range. For a traditionalist hunter, the 30-06 is a real hunting chambering that will outshoot most men. It is considered a highly accurate and true shooting rifle. PAL will be confirmed.

My plan was to do this as a hobby, and take the processed brass to gun shows, farmers markets and other local and provincial events that I could attend. Processed brass does not require a PAL to possess and/or sell/purchase. Process brass that is unloaded does require a PAL to possess and/or sell/purchase. I am an avid hunter, sport shooter, and into long range accuracy as well. I was also going to reload my own ammunition with the same equipment, so I purchased the best possible for the most accurate and reliable brass and ammunition possible. I am not selling any gun powder, primers, bullets or completed ammunition. I would like to sell this as a package to an interested party. Breaking it up may make it less enticing to an interested party, but I may sell equipment individually if there is no interest in the whole package. Most of the equipment is unused, so it is in new condition. The rest of the equipment has limited use, to verify setup parameters and test end product for SAMMI specs and accuracy, so it is in near new condition. The brass is government issued, once fired, purchased through GCSurplus auction site.
