This is a 1940 Ishapore made No 1 MK111 ( not a MK111*) with mag cutoff and period correct RFI stamped bayonet. The hardware and wood set is good to excellent condition ( for an 84 year old rifle) and as far as I can tell, completely original from the factory. Bolt, receiver, Barrel, rear sight and nose cap are all matching numbers. The magazine isn't matching numbers but is RFI stamped. The bayonet is the short 12 inch "Indian Pattern" which I believe is a 1943 made bayonet. There are some visible repairs to the butt stock, maybe field repairs or post military use - I don't know. I can't make out the markings on the underside of the butt stock but it doesn't appear to be English or Latin script, possibly Punjabi, Bengali or Burmese. The barrel is probably nearing the end of it's life but I have taken this rifle to the range numerous times and it shoots fine with pretty good accuracy at 100 yards. I didn't really want to sell this one as it's a great historical piece, but I need to reduce the amount of Rifles and spare parts I have. Selling/trading a Winchester Model 1906 pump action .22. Stamped for short, long and long rifle. Made in 1913, barrel shortened to 19". Steel has turned to a dark patina throughout, has some black residue on parts of the barrel. Wood stocks are in good shape, one pin through the wrist which is solid. Bore shows some wear but is in shootable shape. Has iron sights that aren't original to the gun. Consignment sale: Selling/trading an Argentinean Mauser Model 1909 in 30-06 that was part of world renowned gunsmith Martin Hagn's personal collection. Has a 23" Hammerli barrel marked with Martin Hagn along the top. Metal work was done by Martin, colour case hardening was done by Turnbull Restoration, engraving done by MRM Engraving which includes all small parts including each individual screw head. Has a trap door grip cap which holds spare iron sights within it. Gold "Hagn" inlay ontop of the receiver, an inset pin at the tang commemorating his trophy bull harvested in Sweden, and a gold monogram on the underside of the butt. Stock work was also done by Martin and includes an ebony forend. Comes topped with its original iron sights as well as quick detach claw mounts with a Zeiss Diavaari 1.5-6x42mm scope with German #4 reticle.
