Position Overview:
As a rolloff driver, your primary responsibility will be the safe and efficient operation of rolloff trucks to deliver, pick up, and relocate containers at various residential, commercial, and industrial job sites across Calgary and surrounding areas. You will be expected to maintain a high standard of safety, professionalism, and customer service at all times.
Key Responsibilities:
Operate rolloff trucks following all company policies and safety regulations
Load and unload containers in a timely and careful manner
Conduct pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure equipment is in good working condition
Communicate effectively with dispatch and customers as needed
Maintain clean and organized work environment
Report any incidents, equipment issues, or safety concerns promptly
Requirements:
Valid Class 1 , or 3.
Holding a valid Class 1 or Class 3 license is a strong asset.
Previous experience driving heavy vehicles or rolloff trucks is preferred.
Strong commitment to safety, punctuality, and reliability
Ability to work independently with minimal supervision and also as part of a team
Physically able to perform job duties including climbing in and out of trucks and lifting moderately heavy objects
Work Environment and Schedule:
Position available for part time to full time schedules to accommodate different availability needs
Work will involve outdoor conditions, so adaptability to weather changes is necessary
