Description Small bore hunting match repeaters of the series 64: This model shares the action and design with the series 1416 and 1516, but with specific stock design and fitted with the acclaimed heavy target barrel. The basis of this model is the sturdy Match 64 barreled action, equipped with a target two-stage trigger with adjustable position and the universal Multi Purpose Beavertail stock. The Beavertail stock is widely different from the traditional European hunting stock. Created from the requirements of varmint hunters from the „New World“ this stock combines the advantages of classic target barrel with the wide and easy to handle Beavertail forend. An integrated accessory rail in the forend rounds the versatility of these models. A very field useable sport/target accuracy level variant with a constantly growing popularity. Barreled Action The action is used in the ANSCHÜTZ Luxus repeaters 1416/1417 and 1516/1517. This is a bolt action with cam cocking, claw extractor, additional cartridge holder and ejector. Telescopic sight mounting is by an 0.43" wide ANSCHÜTZ Wave Style V-block dovetail rail or by additional drilled and tapped holes. The sliding safety catch onthe right hand side blocks the trigger sear in the safe position and simultaneously lifts the trigger sear and bolt release latch. The bolt can also be opened in the safe position, allowing unloading the firearm with the safety engaged. Trigger ANSCHÜTZ target two-stage and single-stage triggers have always set the standard for quality, reliability, and precision. It is not without reason that ANSCHÜTZ triggers are known as the best in the world. Many manufacturers offer adapters for integration of this master­piece of the German gunsmith‘s art into their firearms. The light weight, hardened and finely ground trigger components facilitate fast and consistent trigger release. *Price reduction fro a quick sale* This is a High Condition 1944 BSA selected to be upgraded into a "T" pattern sniper rifle with correct "TR" marking on the left side of receiver ring. These sniper rifles were based on hand selected No. 4 rifles and saw service with Commonwealth forces during WWII and into the 1960s. In addition to the rifle's standard protected blade front sight and ladder rear, Scope is a No. 32 Mk. II OS. 1650A & mounted on a quick detach base. Scope is dated 1944 and numbered "15803"which is matched to the rifle with the same number force matched on the wrist(see photo). Cast scope base is a high quality reproduction(Roger Payne replica) and was Matched 3522 to same as on the bolt and rifle. Walnut stock with cheek piece, "S51" also stamped behind the grip indicating the rifle is a wartime conversion by famed gunmaker Holland & Holland. CONDITION: Very Good. Metal retains the vast majority of its arsenal applied finishes with some fading. Stocks show small nicks and impressions throughout as is to be expected on military issue arms. Brno model 21/22 F, 7x57 (7mm Mauser/.275 Rigby) carbine with 20" barrel Perfect stalking rifle. One of the best, if not THE best, commercial small ring Mausers ever made. Spoon handle, adjustable double-set triggers, barrel band sling mount, front ramp bead sight, rear sight blanked out. Box magazine with removable (ala K98 but little simpler) floor plate. Action has been professionally full-length Devcon bedded. It also has a brass pin in the wrist but that was there before I got it bedded. Stock and action show some marks of use and stock has harvest notches (?) but excellent condition overall. Integrated scope rails that accept Brno/ZKK/CZ550 19mm Leupold, Lynx or Warne rings as well as others. Ever think about trying a wildcat cartridge? I have 20 Extreme dies available as well as the reamer. Wth is a 20 Extreme? It is a fast, accurate, fun shooting little 20 caliber cartridge based off the 222 Remington case that is easy on the shoulder and barrel, cheap to load for too. It was designed by my late friend and fellow gun enthusiast. No fire forming required, run the case thru the dies, trim, load and shoot. These days when components are so expensive it's nice to be able to go to the range and shoot more than a couple rounds and actually have some fun. One load I have uses only 18.6 grains of powder, that's somewhere around 375 loads to a pound of powder! Great for gopher, coyotes, fox and other small game or just target shooting for fun.
