Vector Optics Paragon Series Prism scopes
The word Paragon means, “a model of excellence”. And this is true of this optic series. I see the Paragon as being the technological descendant of the old Bellorussian PK-AS sight, a one power prism sight that through innovative use of lenses, seems to have a nearly non existent edge when you look through it. Thick opaque edges serve only to limit situational awareness. Competing brands and their prism sights are a miss due to large knobs… they are “good enough”. But the nearly invisible edge of the PK-AS and later on the Paragon discarded the idea that “good enough” was actually “good enough” in regards to situational awareness. Unlike the PK-AS, the Paragon is designed to be small and light. All Paragon models also boast the best eye relief when ranked against competing micro prism sights. -------------------------------------------- Vector Optics Paragon x1 The design of he Paragon x1 is as low profile as possible. No opaque protrusions to reduce situational awareness. Controls, windage and elevation adjustments are close to the body of the optic. It is ideal for someone wanting a close quarters optic but not wanting to be at the mercy of batteries. In the cold Canadian climate there is some wisdom in avoiding something battery dependent in the outdoors. The one power paragon has a circle dot reticle which, according to gestalt psychology, draws the eye quickly to the center. It is a reticle type which is faster to acquire than a dot or a crosshair. The Paragon x1 comes with a low mount and a high mount to be optimized for a large variety of firearm types, from the traditional Mossberg shotgun to the 180C. Caliber Range (max): 12ga, 338. Ideal For: Shotguns, PC9, SKS, FX9, Scorpion, Raven 9, Templar, wk180, ws-mcr, tavor -------------------------------------------- Vector Optics Paragon x3 The design of he Paragon x3 is as low profile as possible. No opaque protrusions to reduce situational awareness. Controls, windage and elevation adjustments are close to the body of the optic. The 3 power prism sight is ideal as a battlesight for modern sporting rifles as the 3 power gives a flexibility at close, medium and occasionally longer ranges quite comfortably. 3 power, in my opinion, is the maximum magnification your brain can resolve with 2 eyes open style shooting. 3 power is ideal for people expecting to engage targets at 300 meters or closer. The x3 Paragon is lightweight and small measuring 3" in length weighing only 225g. The reticle has a drop compensator for 223 balistics. Caliber Range (max): 12ga, 338. Ideal For: FX9, Scorpion, Raven 9, Templar, wk180, ws-mcr, tavor, crypto -------------------------------------------- Specter Arms is a dealer for Vector Optics and the x1 Paragon is not the only thing in stock. Red dots, scopes and micro reflex sights are all available on the website. Send a text to 7809079585 for more info. Do you need to outfit your family or survival group? The bore of the 2 1/2 inch barrel is very good and bright with sharp rifling. The grips are very fine and undamaged. In 1860 he worked in an administrative capacity when he met his future wife - Allen's daughter - at work, and after marrying into the family became a partner in the business. Henry Wadsworth, an officer in the union army, met another of Allen's daughters while still in service during the war, and married into the family as well. Upon his discharge from the army, Wadsworth joined the company which was renamed "Ethan Allen & Co." After Allen's death in 1871, the two sons-in-law took over the firm and renamed it "Forehand & Wadsworth. They would become well known especially for their bulldogs, but also their many fine pocket and large-frame revolvers, single-shot deringers and pistols. Forehand & Wadsworth remained in business until 1890 when Henry Wadsworth retired and Sullivan renamed the company "Forehand Arms". After Sullivan's death in 1898 the company foundered and was taken over by Hopkins & Allen in 1902.

Smith and Wesson No. 2 "Old Model Army", Mid frame antique Revolver $2100
Please text anytime 6476871484. Fully functional antique revolver in ready to shoot condition ,very smooth action. No PAL needed. Can shoot 32rf long and short. Comes with FRT RCMP paperwork. Smith and Wesson No. 2 "Old Model Army", .32 RF Revolver This one is in very good condition. With original blue. The action is strong and accurate, and the cylinder indexes and locks properly without play. The bore of the 5-inch barrel is very good, with sharp rifling and mirror bright. The rosewood grips are very good and undamaged. They look like they may have been re-varnished once. SN 59474, very good overall. History & Background Horace Smith and Daniel Baird Wesson acquired Rollin White’s patent (1855) for the bored-through cylinder to manufacture what they originally called the No. 1 revolver in .22 rim fire. It proved to be a rather ineffective little pocket revolver but was nonetheless very popular with civilians as a personal protective weapon. In 1861, just as the civil war gained momentum, S&W decided that they needed a larger caliber revolver in order to be able to convince the buying public (many of them enlisted in the war) that their gun was a viable protective option and as a back-up gun in battle. The scaled-up design was duly named the No. 2 and was nicknamed the “Army”, as it was widely used by military personnel as a personal side arm. Smith & Wesson retained and defended the Rollin White patent aggressively throughout the civil war period, and until its expiry in 1870, and therefore the No. 2 “Army” would be the only American made cartridge revolver used during this conflict (although several “unlicensed” makers added their wares into the fray, such as Uhlinger, Pond and Moore). The model is called “Old Model” due to its frame shape – the square butt and octagonal barrel of the model 1 ½ First Issue, as compared to the bird’s head grip and round barrel of the Second Issue. There is no “New Model” Army. The "No. 2 Old Model" was a popular personal side arm of many officers in the Union forces during the American Civil War, and is also known as the "Army" model. It was first introduced in 1861, and made until about 1874. The "No. 2" refers to the frame size, "No. 1" having been the first, .22 caliber pocket revolver and the "No. 3"'s being the large-frame revolvers. The 1 1/2 was introduced after the number 2, and since it fits in between the no. 1 and no. 2, it was named the no. 1 1/2. The no. 2 was owned by such famous Americans as General George Armstrong Custer and "Wild Bill" Hickok, the marshal of Deadwood...

Colt M1892 New Army DA "swing out cylinder" Revolver .41 LC Antique $4300
Please text anytime 6476871484. Fully functional double action revolver in perfect condition. No PAL required. Comes with FRT paperwork. Reloadable ammo is available but sold separately. Colt M1892 "New Army" Revolver has significant improvements over M1889 with better locking and indexing mechanism. This one is in excellent condition. It bears about all of its original blue finish. The nitre blue on the trigger and hammer is well visible. The action is strong and accurate, and the cylinder indexes and locks properly. The bore of the 4 1/2 inch barrel is fine with good rifling. The markings are sharp and defined throughout. Extractor working as it should. The assembly numbers on the cylinder, crane and frame. The grips are good and undamaged, showing no wear. History & Background This model is an important milestone in Colt handgun development, as it is the first American revolver with a swing-out cylinder mounted on a crane, a development which would become the standard for modern revolvers to this day. The 1889 cylinder mechanism was already "on the books" as early as 1880, based on designs of Colt engineers William Mason, C.J Ehbets and Horace Lord. It would take almost ten years for Colt executives to give the green light to manufacture this gun, and once it was available, the US government quickly took notice and ordered several thousand for the Navy. Colt adopted the name "New Navy" in honor of this order. The gun has an interesting counter-clockwise cylinder rotation and a locking mechanism which relies entirely on the two-pronged hand. The 1889 model would remain in production for 18 years, with significant improvements in 1892, 94, 95, 96, 1901 and 1903. When it was first introduced in 1889, it met with no competition from the other major makers - Smith & Wesson were still heavily engaged in manufacturing top-break revolvers, and Remington only had their solid frame revolvers with removable cylinders to offer. It would take S&W another ten years before they had a viable alternative to Colt's design.

Please text anytime 6476871484. Fully functional antique revolver in ready to shoot like new condition. No PAL required. Comes with 2 moon clips for 45ACP, 1 adapter for .455 Webley and FRT RCMP paperwork. Webley MkI* British Service Revolver Navy .45ACP/45 Auto/ 455 Webley. The this one was checked and tested for smokeless powder by gunsmith and has NP proof mark. This one was professionally modified to accept 45auto rim and .45ACP cartridges on a moon clip and also can be used with original .455 Webley ammo. The gun is in like new condition with everything tight and working like a Swiss clock and plenty of the original blue remaining. The action is accurate strong and very smooth. The cylinder indexes and locks properly without any play. The bore of the 4-inch barrel is good and mirror bright, with sharp rifling. The grips are excellent and undamaged. SN 33645, very fine overall. History & Background Philip Webley & Son began making top break, hinged revolvers as early as 1880, with the Charles Pryse patented design they acquired for use on their Webley-Pryse revolvers. Soon thereafter an improved locking mechanism by Michael Kaufmann produced the Webley-Kaufmann design, followed by Webley's own improved "Government" model, or "WG". It was not until 1887, when the British military hoped to replace the Enfield revolver that the first "Mark" revolver model was introduced. The Mk I was soon followed by the MkII (1894), then III (1897), and eventually as many as six variations were made, between 1887 and 1949. The Webley top break "Mark" revolvers were probably the single most widely used side arm in the world, and were still in service as late as the 1970’s.

Photo of 1919 McLaughlin HA 63 touring car assembly project for sale
$15000
1919 McLaughlin HA 63 touring car assembly project for sale
1919 McLaughlin HA 63 touring car assembly project for sale This is a very rare Canadian made car. Less than 6 left that I am aware of. Built with McLaughlin quality, a step above Buick in terms of finish. The person who buys this car should plan on spending a few days with me as we go through all the boxes of parts and supplies, bring your own video camera. You would benefit by spending a few days with me going through what everything is and what I have learned. It is a project, but a lot of the big dollar expenses are completed. The engine has been rebuilt but not completely reassembled. It has new rings & pistons, new valves, new Babbitt (all back in the engine). All the parts are on hand to reassemble the engine including the hard-to-find generator. There is an extra engine and transmission included. It comes with 2 marvel carbs; one has been rebuilt. The frame is in good condition and has been sand blasted as are the fenders. There is an extra front axle and an extra rear end but only one complete crown and pinion. The springs have also been repaired and have new bushings. All plating has been done including dog bone and McLaughlin Motometer. The wheels have been respoked and the rims have been cadmium coated (not painted) I also have 4 original screw on “hub caps” in excellent condition. All wood has been replaced but has not been reassembled. It was redone in Ash as original (air dried for 25 years from our Ontario farm and stored in our barn) except the top bows which needed to be bent with green oak. The oak bows were made in 2 pcs each and are bent but need to be shaped to fit the arms which were also rebuilt. Includes all pictures taken over time, and a video from the early days of taking it apart. It also comes with copies of manuals I have managed to get, not all for the right year but still useful. Mostly this car was referred to as H63 model but the plate on the toe board has the model as HA 63 which I assume meant the “special” version. The special also has wheels in yellow and the original wheels on this car had been yellow, some of the paperwork shows these details. I also have number of period accessories; they are not included in this deal but are available. Including horsehair blanket, spare tanks for running board (Water Gas oil), Period aftermarket electric Canadian wiper system, Running board cooler. I am asking $15K, which just cover my out-of-pocket expenses, nothing for the years of time invested. Recent health issues would suggest I will be unable to complete this project. It is an excellent project for someone. I am located near Grande Prairie in Northern Alberta. Call me for a chat, if you are seriously interested, with any questions you may have and more pictures, Phone 587-726-9056 At this point you can complete it to a prize-winning car if you desire.
