Christian Sharps (1811-1874) was one of the best-known firearms designers and manufacturers of the 19th century. Although he never achieved the volumes of Colt, S&W and Remington, Christian Sharps was a major supplier of long arms to the Union during the civil war. His carbines are iconic among civil war collectors. Sharps sporting rifles were extremely popular at the time, and still fetch premium prices to this day. Christian Sharps had a rocky and sometimes acrimonious relationship with his managers and partners, and would leave the Hartford firm in 1853, returning to Philadelphia. There, he formed a new company in 1854, called C. Sharps & Co. He manufactured pepperboxes and single-shot pistols, while the Sharps Rifle Co. continued with long arms. In 1862, Christian Sharps formed "Sharps & Hankins", in partnership with William Hankins, who had sold his own plant to William Uhlinger. Sharps & Hankins would continue until 1866, producing their four-barrel pepperboxes, single shot pistols, and military grade long arms in competition with his former company in Hartford. Soon after the war, the partnership was dissolved, and Sharps would go back to his previous name of C. Sharps & Co. He continued to manufacture the four-barrel pepperboxes until 1874, when the firm was dissolved after his death.

2025 Keystone RV Hideout Sport Double Axle 200RLWE
FOR SALE: 2025 Keystone Hideout Sport 200RLWE Because your in-laws don't fit in your house... and now they don’t have to! Stock #82980 Text Leigh-Anne At fraserway Edmonton 780-977-2138 Are you tired of camping meaning "sleeping in the dirt while a raccoon steals your snacks"? Are you ready to elevate your outdoor game from “Bear Buffet” to “Glamping God”? Then feast your eyes on the 2025 Keystone Hideout Sport 200RLWE — the travel trailer that screams “I like nature, but I also like microwaves.” Let’s break this majestic beast down: Double Axle – Because single axles are for people who live dangerously. This baby’s got two for maximum stability and minimum oopsies. Queen Bed – Real royalty sleep here. Or you. Same difference. Sofa + Dinette – Converts into beds because apparently not everyone loves spooning in a queen bed with Uncle Larry. Full Kitchen – Features a fridge, cooktop, and more places to burn toast than your old apartment. Bathroom – Yes, with walls. And a door. No more squatting behind your car like a confused wilderness criminal. 25 Feet of Glory – Not too big, not too small. Just right for disappearing into the woods or pulling into a campground and acting like you’ve been camping for years (while secretly watching Netflix). And get this — it only weighs around 4,400 lbs, which is just a bit more than your mother-in-law’s luggage on a weekend visit. Your mid-size SUV might just high-five you for towing it. Why is it called a "Hideout"? Because when your family’s too much, your job’s too loud, and society keeps asking if you’ve “tried yoga,” this is where you go to disappear. Like a forest ninja. With a coffee maker. So stop tent camping like a medieval peasant. Step into the future. A future with air conditioning, LED lights, and the kind of water heater that doesn’t judge you for 45-minute showers. Call now before someone less deserving takes it — like that guy who camps in flip flops and calls squirrels “forest puppies.”

Photo of Low Content Wolfdog Puppies For Sale (Kangal, Australian Shepherd, Malamute, Gray Wolf Mix)

Low Content Wolfdog Puppies For Sale (Kangal, Australian Shepherd, Malamute, Gray Wolf Mix)
Pups born 2023. Photos of the puppies, parents, Wolfdog lineage and ancestors below; as well as the pups probable adult appearances when their ears go up. Pheebe is a female 100% Turkish Kangal who had these puppies. She bred with a male low content Wolfdog. She had 10 pups that survived birth out of 12. So there are are a lot of pups to choose from; 3 males and 7 females. Sold: -Brown Female: Homed -Fawn Male with White Face Stripe: Homed -Blue Merle Male: Homed -Grey Merle Female 1: Homed -Solid Brown Female with small white stripe: Homed Brown Male: Homed -Merle mottled female: Homed -Black & White: Homed -Black Female Wolfy pup: Sold -Red Hidden Merle female: Sold You will get the doggy appearance with slight wolf characteristics such as the mane and long legs and other features. I am doing an agreement to carry on the lineage in the future to who ever buys one of the males. The female he will breed when he’s older will be a Caucasian Shepherd Lurcher mix, for a pup back deal. I have worked on the lineage for years. I would provide a free studding to you for a pup back. Any extra pup I would buy from you; you would have a litter and make money from it, or be able to keep one of her future pups as a family pet from her litter if you wanted. These pups will be for dedicated people, who have a fenced yard in town, or those who live rurally, and are able to provide food, and a loving home to these pups. They have been specifically bred for when it hits the fan, because it will in the coming years and already is. I lived fully Off- Grid and had time to consider which dog breeds would be the best for survival situations. These will be a versatile dog that will be large and able to defend its self and survive in the elements. This mix includes both the strongest and smartest dog breeds, and breeds that are the best for sled pulling and winter. The Dad (Wolfdog) is the most gentle chill dog ever, and the mom is extremely good with kids and people. They will display Dog and Wolf behavior, but mostly dog. The genetics will be 50% Kangal 13% Border Collie 12% Alaskan Malamute 12% Australian Shepherd 10.5% Gray Wolf 2.5% German Shepherd The dad also has an Embark DNA test done. The breeds in the mix aren’t just random or happened by chance, but the Wolfdog lineage has been selectively bred for 50+ years. The breeds in the mix are for a purpose that would create an ultimate off-grid or country dog, that is loyal, strong, resilient to weather, will protect their family, are able to pull and do sledding, take out Coyotes and defend against Bears or Cougars, and be a companion and family dog. These canines will be able to withstand cold winters and hot summers. They will be good with people and in public, but will be able to let you know if anyone comes on your land, and also be able to take out Coyotes if need be. High and Mid content Wolfdogs aren’t protection type dogs, but Kangals are good for that; though they are very good with kids and people, they will alert you to if they sense anything, and if need be (if a bear or cougar came along) will protect you with their life. Kangals are excellent with children and have a long lifespan for a large breed; 12-14 years. Wolfdogs also have a long lifespan, and Collies, Aussies. 15-16 years. Not only are Kangals large and tall, but they are agile, and have very few health problems. They have been used for thousands of years to guard livestock and as wilderness companions. These pups will have a low coefficient of inbreeding, with good genetic diversity. This is an extremely rare mix. It probably hasn’t been done before with the above breeds all mixed and the percentages of each breed. This will also be the only litter between these two dogs. I have a family tree with pictures of the lineage all the way back to 1993 The pups will have good traits from all these breeds, and be more trainable, have recall, and not shy of crowds like some Wolves. (They are only 10.5% so will act like a dog). But they will be able to withstand the winters better, and have a greater genetic diversity, and be more robust than the dog breeds. The parents temperaments are amazing. The dad is very calm, loves cuddles, and won’t run away like many Wolfdogs. He has recall and will listen. He is extremely gentle and has no prey drive or resource guarding at all. Better than a doggy dog. The mother is a calm demeanoured dog that is super loving to her humans, is great with all people. She is good indoors, outdoors, and loves laying and walking with her family. She will protect her family with barking if she senses danger from dogs, Coyotes, or sketchy people that come on to the land. She is a sensitive female and submits to her family, and she is gentle with all people in public. Very stable and calm. She is intuitive, and is gentle with people. She is a sweet girl, and would guard her family if it were the last resort. Both parents have a extremely deep bark. So it’s good to have them around if you are hiking. Her male pups will probably have a deeper bark than both. Most people want to own a high content because of the way they look. But don’t know or have what they need. These ones are easy to raise, can be taken with you places and are like a dog, but have a little bit of Wolf in them that helps with their health. But when you get a Wolfdog, more people out of the general population, of the people who have a good setup or yard, would like the owning of a low content such as this litter. This is because you can take them far more places, they don’t need as much meat in their diet, not expensive, are outgoing, don’t need as much of a huge and expensive enclosure as a High content, they are more trainable and good to live indoors or outdoors, and can be pad trained easily; which high contents do better living outdoors. These parents both do great indoors. Will fall asleep with you on the couch. They will do good in a home and family, that will do training and take them on walks, and will have a yard for them. And of course most importantly, a loving home. Text or call 587-336-6789 for information and details, or to meet pups

Photo of Proven Stud Australian Shepherd/ Border Collie

Proven Stud Australian Shepherd/ Border Collie
Photos of him and a few of his puppies below Jasper is a male Australian Shepherd/ Border Collie who is available to stud healthy female dogs. He is athletic, cuddly, smart and goofy, and loves the outdoors. I selectively bred his mother a few years ago to get Jasper, and kept him from the litter because of his traits and personality. He turned out to be an amazing family dog Jasper is 3.5 years old and produces sperm Breeding can be done by natural breeding or AI. He has sired 10 healthy litters of different peoples dogs, and carries genes that have produced an amazing variety of puppies; Red Merle’s, Blue Merle’s, Black & Whites, Tricoloured, Solid Red, and Brown puppies. He had these colouration combos as his mom was black and white, dad was a red merle, and grandma was tricolored. His further descendants likely carried further coat colors, as he has produced a variety of coats on all his pups. Jasper is great with people, other animals, and does well by himself or in crowds. His mother was a trained cattle dog. Jasper has a long coat. His father has a long coat, and his mother has a short coat, so his pups can have a variety of coat lengths. I purposefully bred his mother to produce him as a mixed breed, because it helps with health, life longevity, and a larger genetic diversity, and a lower coefficient of inbreeding. This coat is also excellent for our habitat and seasons, where he is fine in winter or summer. He is able to make beautiful pups. He is very muscular. The dogs he would go good with, considering they are healthy, include breeds such as a German Shepherd, Husky, Aussie, Collie, Retriever, Maremma, Poodle, and other medium to large healthy dogs. If you are that kind of person who loves mix breeds, or steers towards the herding breeds and are looking for a beautiful and smart puppies, Call or text Luke at 587-336-6789 for more info

Photo of 1919 McLaughlin HA 63 touring car assembly project for sale
$15000
1919 McLaughlin HA 63 touring car assembly project for sale
1919 McLaughlin HA 63 touring car assembly project for sale This is a very rare Canadian made car. Less than 6 left that I am aware of. Built with McLaughlin quality, a step above Buick in terms of finish. The person who buys this car should plan on spending a few days with me as we go through all the boxes of parts and supplies, bring your own video camera. You would benefit by spending a few days with me going through what everything is and what I have learned. It is a project, but a lot of the big dollar expenses are completed. The engine has been rebuilt but not completely reassembled. It has new rings & pistons, new valves, new Babbitt (all back in the engine). All the parts are on hand to reassemble the engine including the hard-to-find generator. There is an extra engine and transmission included. It comes with 2 marvel carbs; one has been rebuilt. The frame is in good condition and has been sand blasted as are the fenders. There is an extra front axle and an extra rear end but only one complete crown and pinion. The springs have also been repaired and have new bushings. All plating has been done including dog bone and McLaughlin Motometer. The wheels have been respoked and the rims have been cadmium coated (not painted) I also have 4 original screw on “hub caps” in excellent condition. All wood has been replaced but has not been reassembled. It was redone in Ash as original (air dried for 25 years from our Ontario farm and stored in our barn) except the top bows which needed to be bent with green oak. The oak bows were made in 2 pcs each and are bent but need to be shaped to fit the arms which were also rebuilt. Includes all pictures taken over time, and a video from the early days of taking it apart. It also comes with copies of manuals I have managed to get, not all for the right year but still useful. Mostly this car was referred to as H63 model but the plate on the toe board has the model as HA 63 which I assume meant the “special” version. The special also has wheels in yellow and the original wheels on this car had been yellow, some of the paperwork shows these details. I also have number of period accessories; they are not included in this deal but are available. Including horsehair blanket, spare tanks for running board (Water Gas oil), Period aftermarket electric Canadian wiper system, Running board cooler. I am asking $15K, which just cover my out-of-pocket expenses, nothing for the years of time invested. Recent health issues would suggest I will be unable to complete this project. It is an excellent project for someone. I am located near Grande Prairie in Northern Alberta. Call me for a chat, if you are seriously interested, with any questions you may have and more pictures, Phone 587-726-9056 At this point you can complete it to a prize-winning car if you desire.
