Nice reprint of the Times News Paper for November 14 1854 Charge of the Light Brigade, this reprint is from the 1970s and was in storage until now, unique item speaks to the charge as it was written then has classified adds, stock reports and other news just like in 1854, this paper though a reprint it self is over 40 years old and does show signs of storage, unique item for someone that loves old British Military or old newspapers. This is a VZ24 Czech 8mm mauser with the “E lion” crest The receiver has formed a patina finish to it but the crest is deep and all details of the lion is clear. It is a non matching full furniture rifle. Top hand Gaurd is cracked the bands hold it together. Light/normal wear/scratches on stock wood and metal has not been refinished. Front sight is missing the VZ sight Gaurd a common part missing and not to hard to source, front sight is correct with the sight gaurd channel so the fix is easy as sourcing the part and sliding it in the channel. History: sourcing is a bit hard as many documents were lost/destroyed or not maintained during and post WWII. Some information I Did find on the E lion crest was some can be as old as 1935 but most with records dated and started to show up in 1936 they started to disappear in 1939 and many receivers with the Czech lion were required to be scrubbed after Germany absorbed Czechoslovakia during WWII.

1910 Carl gustafs 6.5x55 Swede mauser SN 262063 partially matching, reciever and bolt matches. Near full furniture (missing the armoury dial as seen in picture of right side. Light to moderate wear on wood, it is over 100 years old, crest is in very good sharp condition. Barrel, receiver, and bolt has not been reblued floor plate, and trigger assembly looks like it has been reblued. stock has not been sanded. Metal stamps are sharp with Swede crowns populating the bolt, barrel, sights and receiver.

Howdy Townpost. I have here a nicely restored Cooey Model 82. I got the gun as an oil stained and sporterized target .22. It's had the stock nicely refinished in a satin urethane finish done in the fashion to mimic an old oil finished stock. The stock has a pretty nice grain pattern on the underside of it (pictured). The bore is excellent. The stock had a chunk out of it to accomodate a Lyman peep-sight and the receiver was drilled and tapped for it as well. That has all been repaired (pictured) and is hardly noticeable now. There was a hairline crack near the middle barrel band that was filled too. It probably wasn't necessary to fill especially on a .22 , but hey she's been filled. It has all the C-broad arrow markings present. The rifle is located in Calgary AB for local delivery or pickup. Or I can ship it nationwide on the buyer's dime. Howdy Townpost. I've a neat old single shot 12 gauge made by Savage. It has a nice and light tenite stock that was sanded at one point to give it a matte finish. The shotgun is very tight and not off the face at all. The gun is very light and handy sitting 5.73lbs. It has a 12 gauge 2 3/4in, 28in full choke barrel. The patent number is molded into the plastic stock interestingly enough. The black paint on the trigger guard is flaking of a little. The shotgun is located in Calgary AB for local delivery or pickup. Or I can ship it nationwide on the buyer's dime. It's pretty short when broken down, and is light so it should be relatively inexpensive to ship.
