Vector Optics Paragon Series Prism scopes
The word Paragon means, “a model of excellence”. And this is true of this optic series. I see the Paragon as being the technological descendant of the old Bellorussian PK-AS sight, a one power prism sight that through innovative use of lenses, seems to have a nearly non existent edge when you look through it. Thick opaque edges serve only to limit situational awareness. Competing brands and their prism sights are a miss due to large knobs… they are “good enough”. But the nearly invisible edge of the PK-AS and later on the Paragon discarded the idea that “good enough” was actually “good enough” in regards to situational awareness. Unlike the PK-AS, the Paragon is designed to be small and light. All Paragon models also boast the best eye relief when ranked against competing micro prism sights. -------------------------------------------- Vector Optics Paragon x1 The design of he Paragon x1 is as low profile as possible. No opaque protrusions to reduce situational awareness. Controls, windage and elevation adjustments are close to the body of the optic. It is ideal for someone wanting a close quarters optic but not wanting to be at the mercy of batteries. In the cold Canadian climate there is some wisdom in avoiding something battery dependent in the outdoors. The one power paragon has a circle dot reticle which, according to gestalt psychology, draws the eye quickly to the center. It is a reticle type which is faster to acquire than a dot or a crosshair. The Paragon x1 comes with a low mount and a high mount to be optimized for a large variety of firearm types, from the traditional Mossberg shotgun to the 180C. Caliber Range (max): 12ga, 338. Ideal For: Shotguns, PC9, SKS, FX9, Scorpion, Raven 9, Templar, wk180, ws-mcr, tavor -------------------------------------------- Vector Optics Paragon x3 The design of he Paragon x3 is as low profile as possible. No opaque protrusions to reduce situational awareness. Controls, windage and elevation adjustments are close to the body of the optic. The 3 power prism sight is ideal as a battlesight for modern sporting rifles as the 3 power gives a flexibility at close, medium and occasionally longer ranges quite comfortably. 3 power, in my opinion, is the maximum magnification your brain can resolve with 2 eyes open style shooting. 3 power is ideal for people expecting to engage targets at 300 meters or closer. The x3 Paragon is lightweight and small measuring 3" in length weighing only 225g. The reticle has a drop compensator for 223 balistics. Caliber Range (max): 12ga, 338. Ideal For: FX9, Scorpion, Raven 9, Templar, wk180, ws-mcr, tavor, crypto -------------------------------------------- Specter Arms is a dealer for Vector Optics and the x1 Paragon is not the only thing in stock. Red dots, scopes and micro reflex sights are all available on the website. Send a text to 7809079585 for more info. Do you need to outfit your family or survival group? ORIGINAL 1880's ANSON MILLS CARTRIDGE BELT & PATENT 1881 MILLS/ORNDORFF " OLD RELIABLE " BUCKLE
I am downsizing my antique gun and militaria collection to move into a much smaller house with a much smaller gunroom.......offering an original 1880's Mills pattern , woven ammo belt with a rare 1881 Patent Mills/Orndorff brass " OLD RELIABLE " buckle and retainer. The loops hold .40 to .45 caliber rounds and included are twenty .44-90 Sharps bottleneck cartridges. Please view the photos closely as the belt has been well used and has some damaged loops and earlier field repairs.....I have always refrained from doing any repairs or "enhancements" to my original antiques as the wear and tear is a natural part of its history and character. The cartridges are not original but are repro brass which was purchased about 45 years ago and which I loaded with black powder and some very old primers which were purchased about 50 years ago ( used for display purposes only ). The belt and attached buckle were purchased by me in 1967 at an Ohio gun show. The brass buckle has that beautiful patina which only time can create and it does have a few dents from honest wear and tear.....contact me if you interested and need more photos, or different angles, as the website only allows 10 photos. This is a rarely encountered ensemble.    I am willing to ship at "BUYER'S EXPENSE" but it will need to be by a trackable and insured method, or I offer local pick up --- OF COURSE I CANNOT SHIP THE BLACK POWDER CARTRIDGES WITHOUT REMOVING THE POWDER AS THEY ARE CLASSED AS EXPLOSIVES.......THIS COULD BE POSSIBLE AS I HAVE NEVER CRIMPED MY SHARPS CARTRIDGE RELOADS WITH PAPER PATCHED BULLETS. I am also in Red Deer one day per week and can arrange to meet there, or enroute, for delivery.

1993 Browning BLR 81L Long Action – Mint condition – 7mm Rem. Mag.
Looking to part with my beautiful Browning BLR 81L Long Action in 7mm Rem Mag. Serial # trace sets it as manufactured in 1993. Heavy steel receiver and made in Japan. You may find the odd minor blemish here and there on the stock if you look really, really hard. But the stock and bluing is near perfect top to bottom. Slight discoloration on the side of the bolt as shown in the photos. I bought this rifle at a gun show a couple years back and don't know who the first owners were. I had plans of topping it with an optic but have not purchased one for it (just the bases). I have put 38 rounds down range over the past 4 years with the irons. Always cleaned and lightly oiled after each use. It is hard to believe this rifle is 33 years old. I just don't love the lever action as much as I thought I would, and I'm looking to change to a bolt action in a different caliber for my future intentions. That being said, this action and BLR is as smooth as butter. Package includes: Rifle: Browning BLR 81L – Long Action (7mm Rem Mag). Magazines: Two 3-round detachable box magazines. One is open box but unused. I bought it as an extra, and one came with the rifle. (these are expensive to buy separately, usually $130-150 each–made in Japan). Bases: Warne Maxima Steel 2-piece bases (installed and specific to the rounded steel BLR receiver). Sling: Browning branded paracord/padded sling. Maintenance: Hoppe’s 9 BoreSnake Viper (7mm specific) Ammo: 42 rounds – 37x154gr Hornady Interlock SP and 5x175gr Rem. Core Lokt SP and storage case. 1xAllen cable lock with two keys Whole package is $2200. Serious offers only please. Lowball offers will not be considered. Local sale preferred but can ship on buyer's dime. I am up and down Vancouver Island regularly and can meet at your local range or somewhere comfortable. PAL verification required. Feel free to reach out with any questions, or if you'd like more photos. Thanks for looking!
