Bluing is in very nice shape throughout on the barrels, some light fading here or there. Colour case hardened receiver also shows well, some light wear/freckling on the heavier handled parts. Wood stocks are in good shape, a few normal bumps and marks from being hunted with. Bores are very nice. Comes with improved modified and improved cylinder chokes. Overall a very nice shotgun. Fantastic shooter and tack driver. My favourite things about it: the trigger pull is easily adjustable without having to take the gun apart to fine tune to your preference, and the stock has a really nice feel. Absolutely nothing wrong with it, I’m just not shooting it very often and want to fund a new project. It’s shot maybe 200 rounds, 250 max so it’s barely broken in. Up for serious consideration, is a late 1800's Hammered 12 Guage Double Barrelled Shotgun. Manufactured by Claybrough and Johnstone, Price Street, Birmingham England sometime after 1868. The steel is Damascus finish with a 30 inch barrel. Calibre is 12 Guage 2.5 inches. I have never fired the gun. The inside of the barrell(s) are clean , with no pitting. The unit has tiny marks and scratches over its surface on both wood and metal. The one barrel has a tiny indent approximately 16 inches from the breach.It is slightly visible on the inside of the barrel. Each barrel has the numbers "293" stamped on them as well as the underside of the foregrip. The number "144" is stamped on the centre rib of the barrel underneath the foregrip. Both firing pins/hammers need a tiny adjustment. Hopefully the photos tell you the overall condition the gun is in. If you have any questions, please email me via this ad.
