manufactured by P [Paul] Webley] & Son of Shaftsbury Avenue London England. This firearm was manufactured before the manufacturer changed its name to Webley & Scott in 1897.
2.75 in. chambers. fixed chokes. double triggers. internal hammers. automatic safety. Hawkins recoil pad. double bead sight.
All metal parts including the rib and both barrels are covered in intricate beautiful engraving. Wooden stock and wooden fore stock are both delicately checkered.
Well cared for. Has not been fired for many decades. No rust or pitting on any metal parts. Stock has a few scratches and dents but no cracks. There is a small hairline crack on the upper right side of the fore stock.
price includes an interesting looking old worn leather take down carrying case and a vintage cleaning kit in an old wooden box. more photos available on request. the shotgun was not stored in the leather carrying case.
