Regarded as a pistol advanced beyond other pistols the Alien has many features not available on standard handguns. Factory wood is good, a small piece missing on right forend, can be seen in photo. Bluing is app. 40% throughout. Light scratches on both sides of the receiver. Above average bore for time frame, bore has rifling top to bottom, typical black powder corrosion. Screws show minimal use. Original sights fully intact. Operationally everything appears to be good. A VG+ Winchester (WCF) .30 SRC (DCP). All original and free of repairs,cracks,gouges or missing wood.The usual few bruises and usage wear to be expected with a 107 yr old Canadian Naval Historical Rifle. All the proof marks,and barrel address are clearly legible,all screws are sharp and have not been tampered with. The 20” carbine barrel ore is very clean with VG+ rifling,some light scratches on the receiver,with no metal pitting. Original blueing can be seen around the saddle ring and on both sides of the receiver and on the barrel and magazine,with an aged plum patina covering the rest of the metal. Original rear ladder site is in excellent condition and functions perfectly,the action is super smooth with a solid lockup. A very nice example of Winchester Canadian Naval History! I have 150 rounds of super rare 25-20 ammunition that I formed from 32-20 cases. They are loaded with 60 grain Hornady soft points, 11.0 grains of Accurate 1680 powder and CCI-400 primers which yields a velocity of 1621 FPS. Reason I’m selling, my Winchester model 92 likes a slightly larger diameter bullet. This load and bullet did shoot really well out of my old Marlin lever gun. Up for sale is a Rem 700 long action chambered in 300 Winchester Magnum. Less than 100 rounds down the barrel, I was going to use it for a course but didn't think I'd live through 2 straight days of that recoil lol. It's been in the safe since, a couple years. A few light scratches on the barrel and stock from moving things around in the safe, otherwise good condition. I have rings for another $50 if you want them; they came with the rifle and an original scope on it that's not included in this. Not sure of the brand; it's whatever was packaged with it. I have a new, unfired RCMP Centennial rifle, in the box.
