URGENT - My wife and I are senior citizens and looking to rent a small house in or near Rocky Mountain House, Alberta. The small house we rented in Calgary has been sold and we were told to find a place to stay elsewhere. This is a huge shock to me as the landlord never mentioned to us that he was planning to sell the house. How can people be so cruel to do this to anyone, including senior citizens on a relatively small government pension, OAS and GIS. We also have small Chihuahua that we adopted in Mazatlán. She is not aggressive and very quiet. All we need is a one- or two-bedroom small house that is in a safe area for seniors. We have applied to so many seniors housing facilities which we were approved and qualified for, but most have a long waiting list. We do not drink or have parties and respectful to others. We are rehoming our two blue merle chihuahuas, a male and a female, both unfixed, vaccines due the beginning of next year. Will come with all their belongings. We'd like them to be rehomed separately as they arent getting along. Both excellent with kids and people. The female is very quiet,usually doesn't bark but will cry a bit if left alone and takes a bit to warm up to other dogs (will growl at first but warms up after a few days) and great with other pets. The male is a bit more vocal and will bark when people at the door etc and seems to be a bit more dog selective. Female is 2.5 and male is 5. Being rehomed due to a death in the family. It's a very hard decision so they will only go to the best loving homes.
