Howdy Townpost. I have here a nicely restored Cooey Model 82. I got the gun as an oil stained and sporterized target .22. It's had the stock nicely refinished in a satin urethane finish done in the fashion to mimic an old oil finished stock. The stock has a pretty nice grain pattern on the underside of it (pictured). The bore is excellent. The stock had a chunk out of it to accomodate a Lyman peep-sight and the receiver was drilled and tapped for it as well. That has all been repaired (pictured) and is hardly noticeable now. There was a hairline crack near the middle barrel band that was filled too. It probably wasn't necessary to fill especially on a .22 , but hey she's been filled. It has all the C-broad arrow markings present. The rifle is located in Calgary AB for local delivery or pickup. Or I can ship it nationwide on the buyer's dime. If you live in Alberta I do get around the province a fair bit throughout the year, so if I happen to be heading to your area maybe we can do a meet up along the way on my travels to save you the shipping costs. I picked this up a while ago and have never used it. It was going to be my bug out gun but life changes and i need to downsize my collection. There is some pitting on the receiver. Bubbad metal work to fit the mag. Rifling looks good. Wartak skar sd-r scope rail. And AR magwell adapter. There is a bit of finish work that needs to be done. The ammo stovepipes unless you put a shim behind the mag then it cycles fine. Might be an easy fix if you have the right tools. Topped with a Burris fullfield 3-9x40 at the moment. $1500 for the rifle, magwell, rail and scope. 1500rd crate of Chinese corrosive. extra $500.
