For sale is a Marlin model 1893 antique lever action rifle with octagon barrel. has been in the family for generations. Butt was repaired at some point in its life. I believe needs a spring in the cocking mechanism other than that everything works smooth. This is the gun that changed the west and gave us our country. Amazing piece of history with the marks to prove its story. Looks amazing in a den room. 1500 takes it.

I have 150 rounds of super rare 25-20 ammunition that I formed from 32-20 cases. They are loaded with 60 grain Hornady soft points, 11.0 grains of Accurate 1680 powder and CCI-400 primers which yields a velocity of 1621 FPS. Reason I’m selling, my Winchester model 92 likes a slightly larger diameter bullet. This load and bullet did shoot really well out of my old Marlin lever gun. I have a beautiful little Henry 410 lever action for sale. It doesn’t get much use as I favour my Marlin 410. I’m actually torn between selling one of the two. It’s the model with the 20 inch smooth barrel and tube fed. I’ll give it to 8 to 9 out of 10 as far as condition goes. Little bit of patina on the lever and bottom of receiver. Doesn’t affect shooting whatsoever. Nothing a little fine grit sandpaper wouldn’t fix. This was my ex-girlfriend‘s first Shotgun, I had to confiscate it because she wasn’t taking good care of it lol. Savage 99 in 300 Savage takedown lever action rifle circa 1927. Exterior blue was rated at 10% with brownish finish on the rest of the metal (I would have though higher but its the way a 1920s Savage 99 ages. Bore about Good to very good with some wear around the throat. Honest wear in a good solid hunting rifle. Very slight crack back of the tang of the butt stock (I had to actually look for it again) which is common to these rifles. Runs and welds great, it's in mint condition and has been well maintained, and it doesn't burn or leak oil. Not too sure what the hours are but I know there fairly low. comes with trailer and leads. It recently had an oil change, full carb and armatures clean, fresh spark plugs. OCV's are currently set to 89. Winchester Model 1894 Ref #1041. Early five digit serial number. Dated 1897. This Winchester is a lever action, sporting rifle, octagon barrel, full mag. Dated 1897 Stock is excellent, appears original. A few marks. Original metal recoil pad fits well. Barrel is 26” long with sights intact. The read sights are intact and appear original. Bore is very nice, no obvious corrosion, does not appear to have ever seen black powder. Rifling throughout. Bluing is 40-50%. There are bumps and scratches on metal expected on a plus 125-year-old firearm. The drivers side receiver has a few light scratches and bangs. Screws have been used but are still usable. There is one on the loading port side that may have been a replacement. The lever functions well, safety checks out and the trigger pull, and drop are good. Firing pin is evident and protrudes when pushed on. Ejector is intact and tight, and magazine follower functions correctly.  Overall, I grade this firearm as good and should be fully functional. I don’t see many from this time frame with bores looking this good. I did not test with snap caps or fire. Only reasonable offers are considered. Low ball offers will not be responded to. Trades in person only. The firearms and accessories I sell may be new or used and are usually acquired through estate liquidations. I visually inspect them and check basic operation only and share what I know or find in the description and photos. They are not live test fired.
