Cook – Casual Position
Description: Directly reporting to the Site Manager, the Cook is accountable for: Meal Preparation for approximately 50 residents, Serving Meals and Cleanliness of Food Services Area. This position entails a high level of interaction with seniors and requires physical endurance (e.g. maneuvering heavy pots, flour bags).

• Demonstrates an understanding of the Canada’s Food Guide to Healthy Eating
• Knowledge of food ratio guidelines based on dietary requirements for seniors
• Demonstrates an understanding of dietary requirements for seniors
• High School Diploma
• Food Handlers Course
• WHMIS
Work Conditions and Physical Capabilities
The Chateau Lac Ste. Anne Lodge is a fast-paced environment with many repetitive tasks. The position can be physically demanding and attention to detail is important. This position requires a combination of standing & walking throughout the shifts.
Personal Suitability
The applicant must show initiative, effective interpersonal skills, flexibility and be a Team player. Excellent oral communication, Resident focus, interpersonal awareness, dependability, judgement, values and ethics; reliability as well as organizational skills are an asset.

Hairstylist – Casual
Chateau Lac Ste. Anne Lodge – Onoway
Seeking hairstylist to work out of the Chateau Lac Ste. Anne Lodge in Onoway (one day a week). The Lodge will provide access and adequate space for hairdressing services including stations. The lodge will also provide the utilities for the hair salon. Lease of $80.00 a month.
Requirements:
• Provide hairdressing services primarily to residents of the lodge.
• Open a minimum of one day per week, and work additional hours by request to accommodate resident’s needs.
• Provide all products and supplies to perform hairdressing duties.
• Bill and collect for services from clients (set your own pricing).
Skills, Knowledge, Qualifications & Experience:
Proven success in the following job competencies:
• Provide an original Level 4 Criminal record check that is valid in the past 6 months.
• Hair cutting certificate and license.
• Must be able to do perms and roller sets.

DUTIES
Directly reporting to the LPN Team Lead, the Health Care Aide will provide assistance with resident care needs such as bathing, dressing, toileting & basic ADL, administering prescribed medications, documentation of resident’s daily progress, housekeeping (maintain general cleanliness of the facility on a shift basis) and participation in the residents individual care.
QUALIFICATIONS
Health Care Aid Certificate
If not certified will be required to enroll in the program and the Lac Ste. Anne Foundation may assist with HCA Training
First Aid Certificate
Minimum of High School Diploma
Some College/CEGEP/vocational or technical training
SKILLS
You must be a strong communicator able to communicate effectively in both written and verbal English. You are able to maintain good interpersonal relationships, and have a genuine interest in working with seniors.
