Location: Westlock, Alberta Wage: $26 per hour Hours: Full-time – 40 hours per week Job Type: Permanent Job Description: We are seeking a skilled and safety-conscious Mill Operator (NOC 72104) to join our operations team. The successful candidate will operate and monitor milling equipment, perform inspections and maintenance, and follow strict safety and quality standards. Experience with corrugated steel pipe (CSP) is required. The candidate must understand CSP mill operations and processes, including handling raw coil steel, forming, corrugating, and cutting. Key Responsibilities Operate and monitor milling and corrugating equipment for steel pipe production Set up and adjust mill machinery for optimal operation Handle coil feedstock and ensure proper forming and cutting Read technical drawings to ensure mill setup matches required measurements and layout Fit and join steel using welding techniques Grind and buff seams, joints, and rough surfaces to meet quality standards Inspect final product to ensure conformance to specifications and quality expectations Perform routine maintenance and minor repairs on CSP equipment Record production data and complete quality assurance logs Comply with workplace health and safety regulations Collaborate with team members and supervisors to meet production targets Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent Minimum 1–2 years of experience operating milling and corrugating equipment.
