Red Seal Automotive Service Technician Barrhead, AB Kal Tire Role Description Reporting to the Store Manager, the Automotive Service Technician holds a provincially recognized ticket and conducts maintenance on a wide range of vehicles in a fast-paced and customer service-oriented retail environment. They are skilled at inspections, diagnostics, adjustments, automotive service and general maintenance. This position is located at 5015 49 St, Barrhead, AB, T7N1A3. Job Responsibilities Perform repairs on a wide range of vehicles in a fast-paced environment. Diagnosed, executed, and performed adjustments for automotive services. Provide general maintenance on automobiles, such as tire rotations and brake inspections. Communicating with customers to explain repair options and recommend services. Safety is a priority. You contribute and adhere to a safe and environmentally responsible workplace. Job Requirements You have completed your Journeyperson Automotive Red Seal, have experience in front-end brakes, and enjoy working in a high-energy, fast-paced team environment. You’re skilled at inspections, diagnostics, adjustments, service, and repair on various vehicles. You’ve had some experience teaching/ training Automotive Service Technician Apprentices. You can assist the sales team in identifying potential mechanical opportunities. You have a valid driver's license. You’re active throughout your day and have no problem lifting 30-50 lbs as needed. You’re safety conscious, wear your required PPE, and follow safety protocols.
