Winchester Model 1895 30-40 Krag Ref #1047 This Winchester is a lever action, sporting rifle, round barrel, shotgun style rear stock. Dated 1903. Stock is in good shape, forend has a few chips missing next to metal, the rear stock is excellent, finish is period correct. Original metal recoil pad fits well. Barrel is 28” long with period sights intact. Bore is nice and clean with minimal to no corrosion, excellent rifling top to bottom. Bluing appears original and app. 20% throughout. There are very few minor scratches on metal. Screws are mostly unused, one does appear to have seen a screwdriver but is in very good shape. The lever functions well, safety checks out and the trigger pull, and drop are good. Firing pin is evident. Ejector is intact and tight, and magazine follower is correct. Overall, I grade this firearm as very good and should be fully functional. I did not test with snap caps or fire. Only reasonable offers are considered. Low ball offers will not be responded to. Trades in person only. The firearms and accessories I sell may be new or used and are usually acquired through estate liquidations. Winchester Model 1894 38-55 Ref #1040 This Winchester is a lever action, sporting rifle, octagon barrel, full mag. Dated 1895 Stock is very good – good. Small tang crack 1” long, and a minor chip gone at tang. Forearm has an app. 2” crack and a few very minor cracks. The stock has typical bang marks. Finish appears original or period correct. Original metal recoil pad fits well. Barrel is 26” long with sights intact, rear sight may have been replaced at one time, again period correct. Bore has black powder corrosion but it’s clean now and has rifling top to bottom. Bluing appears original and app. 75-85% throughout. There are bumps and scratches on metal and evidence of minor surface rusting. Screws have been used, but in very good shape. The lever functions well, safety checks out and the trigger pull, and drop are good. Firing pin is evident and protrudes when pushed on. Ejector is intact and tight, and magazine follower functions correctly. Overall, I grade this firearm as very good and should be fully functional. I did not test with snap caps or fire. They fit the smaller primer hole that early Remington hulls had. They may fall out of a standard 209 size primer hole. They are the same as the *57 primers made by Remington and Alcan (and I believe Winchester) If you have in-line muzzleloaders, they may be able to use them too-...... ??? NOTE only on the in-lines- some that use a retention spring to hold it in such as those by Traditions and CVA- I am in Calgary, being PRIMERS can not ship.... travel south almost to Nanton every couple days, will meet around Calgary area,.... would consider trade for CCI Magnum / large / small Primers.

Pictanny rail mounting with 4 different riser and cantilever pieces for flexibility in mounting options.. Replaceable lithium battery. Rubber eye caps/covers. Solid,flexible and robust mounting. I bought this as a perfect shotgun slug scope. I found the eye relief at about 2 inches, not 2.9" as the specifications state. With the heavy recoil of the 12 gauge slugs, the scope was kissing my eyebrow. I used it once and realized sooner or later I was going to get a nasty scope cut. This scope is essentially new, unmarked in perfect condition, with the original box, pamphlets, all accessories. Suitable for a a 20 gauge shotgun/243 Winchester or less in terms of recoil. Perfectly suited for .223 AR platform rifle with surprising accuracy
