An excellent example of a restored rolling block chambered in .730. As far as I know, this firearm had its origins as a Swedish M1867 from the late 1800’s to early 1900’s. It shows in immaculate condition. The barrel has a “JA” stamp, I assume this represents Johnson Automatic who built the custom barrel. The rolling block and action are as new. Comes with enough primers for a lifetime as well as 10 loaded cartridges and my dad’s reloading specs. The story goes that the firearm was used in Africa as tiger protection and somehow wound up in Canada. My Dad passed away a couple of years ago and now it is time for someone else to enjoy this stunning firearm.

less than 300 shot count This is a very interesting custom build prefit barrel for Defiance Ruckus, Anti/X, and Tenacity actions. The blank used to build this barrel is the Bartlein 5R SS. It is 13.5 inches long and has a diameter of 1.25 inches (FTR class spec), it weights 4.1lbs and the twist is 1:10. The reamer used to make this barrel is the 308 Win 2013 FTR Team by Manson Precision. The Chamber has a long throat so it can accept super long cartridges. It shoots the 185gr bullets extremely well. Attached are two developed recipes for this barrel and you can expect very small groups. The brass I used for this barrel was 7mm-08 formed 308win which is common for the 2013 US FTR Team chamber. Ave. velocity is 2450 fps for the 185gr bullets. This barrel was built to combine requirements for bench rest shooting and hunting. It heats up much slower and has a reasonable weight for a hunting build. All shots I took from this barrel was recorded. I believe there are much room to improve the recipes but I just don't have the time to do it now. I can provide professional barrel installation (it is very easy for Defiance shoulder prefit anyway ;))
