120 Horsepower Fishing Setup 1972 17.5" Fiberform Inboard Motor Boat with Full Enclosure Canopy
For sale is our loved "Jolene", as we have bought another boat with a cabin to fare a bit better on the high seas. Comes with E-Z loader trailer with a spare tire, 2" ball and 4-pin flat electrical hookup. All registered. Body: 17.5 foot Fiberform by Canadian Fiberform Ltd., Canadian made in Kelowna. This old gal has been a loyal B.C. local her whole life since she was registered in 1972. The fiberglass is still strong with minimal bruises - a new paint job might breathe a bit more life into 'er. Perks include a rear port kicker mount and spacious glovebox. Seats: 6 seats total – the front 4 fold down to make bench seats if desired (with small storage compartment underneath either way) and the rear 2 have substantial storage. One is fully available, the other has dual battery system within taking up about half of it. Upholstery generally strong with some expected wear and tear. Canopy: Full enclosure with see-through poly window for convenient navigation in cold, wet, or rainy conditions. Front flap zipper allows for convenient access to the bow to stow ropes/crab traps, get a better view, or re-enact the scene from Titanic where Jack and Rose stand at the front of the ship. (Re-enacting other scenes from Titanic not recommended). Side zippers allow the entire rear to be taken off for fishing or recreating, while keeping the front in place. Far more extensive and customizable than a bimini top. Engine: 120 HP OMC Stern Drive gasoline inboard, model no. CUFM19EX. She's old but true; reliable start even from cold on a well-charged battery; ether occasionally comes in handy after winter but usually not necessary. Could use a good carb clean/tune, and the belt is starting to look rough. To Oil can never be changed too often. Fishing hardware: -2x old fashioned scotty downrigger mounts with 2x rod holders, -1x Scotty 26" manual downrigger and mount with bar-mounted rod holder, -mounted sonar transducer + 7-pin cable for GPS, -3' retractable rope landing net. Firepit Wood special 130 for tossed load
Seasoned Dry Split Firewood
Please ask about our weekly special by using the key word woodlot special. Each week will have a different special. We have a person on call to met people at the woodlot which is by appointment only and is depending on weather. We have Woodsheds for drying of the Firewood which allows us to be able to dry the wood to get the firewood to season properly. Be aware of Firewood being sold right off log deck which being sold by my competitors for moisture content and claiming the wood is seasoned along in some cases claiming it is ready to burn. In my experience the Firewood takes numerous days to dry to a point that the wood will burn without the aid of fire starter or additional air flow to keeping the fire alive. So please ask lots of questions such as how long the trees have been harvested and how long the wood has been split. If the Time frame is less than a year there no way the wood will be seasoned without splitting and being dry pile for at least 30 to 60 days depending on the weather conditions and temperature to be ready to burn. Please call ahead to set up an appointment because we might out on a delivery. We are now selling bundled wood of seasoned spruce for 12.00 per bundle. Fill a pickup 6'6" box level of seasoned spitted Balsam Firewood which is less than 1/2 Cord which you toss in for $150.00 or stacked for $30.00 more. Price for rounds various sizes up to 6"-inch diameter spruce rounds or 6'6" box is 140.00 for this month's special if you stack the load and tossed price is 110.00. Aspen, Balsam, Pine, Popular, Tamarack, Birch, and White Spruce stored in shed, and we are currently processing Birch, Balsam, White Spruce, Black Spruce, Aspen and Tamarack in lengths of 11 to 20 inches. We are cutting Aspen, Tamarack, Poplar, Spruce and Balsam rounds which are ready for people to pick up for those who want to split their own or burn as is the lengths are 12, 14, 16, 18, 20 and 30 inches. We are taking bookings for to have the split wood load your truck/trailer right off the conveyor when we are processing by appointment only for a discounted price. Seasoned wood has a Moisture level under 20% and best is around 12% and we have Moisture Tester on Site which there is ongoing testing is on the product to confirm Moisture Levels. Tamarack burns hotter than Birch and leaves little Ash. The highest BTU value of wood is Tamarack at 20.8 then Birch at 20.2 and at third is Aspen at 18.2 and the values are rated in BTU in Millions per cord of wood. Aspen is the best value for your dollar for heating purposes. If you are comparing our prices to other suppliers that sell loose bulk firewood (about 95% of the others sell it loose) a cord is not the same as stacked firewood is almost always about 25-30 % less volume for a tossed load of firewood. Most places "guesstimate" what a cord is by skid steer loader buckets full or the size of truck dump box or trailer dump trailer. This is Not even close to accurate, so if you find a "cord" of Birch Fire Wood is $100 less than our price I would be very suspicious that you are not getting the same quantity of Firewood and it is in fact is it seasoned properly. There is a loading, delivery and stacking for a fee are also available for those who prefer not handle themselves. Prices are dependent on quantity and distance to travel with higher gas prices and inflation which have affected the delivery fees. Please call the Wood Guy at 780-689-6457 and leave a message, or email cmajorow@telus.net, or text 780-689-6457 because I am out cutting or splitting wood. Then we can set up an appointment for pickup because we would like 48 hours notice for a delivery. Please give us some notice such as 7 to 14 days' notice due to weather conditions may affect loading, delivery times due to demand and time to load. We are located north of Athabasca on Highway 813 by the Athabasca Agriplex complex follow the road south and west into. Travel 3 kms Northwest of Town center and turn south at the Athabasca Agriplex Complex intersection on Highway 813 and travel another 3 kms south and then west into the woodlot. Site Id 6640020 Range Road 224.5 SE-30-66-22-W4. I like to thank those who understand the higher operating costs and continue supporting us with the rising costs which are being passed on. Talk to you soon . Thank-You. The Wood Guy
