Selling/trading a Thompson Center Encore Pro Hunter 209x50 cal barrel. Overall it's in very nice shape. 26" stainless, fluted. The breach plug does not fully thread in properly as there's a small bulge where the breach plug was turned in too tight. It will need to be looked at by a gunsmith prior to being useable. The bore is in very Ince shape. Has a Weaver rail, no longer has its iron sights. Comes with a wood forend which has a few marks, nothing too major. Also comes with a matching cleaning rod. Bluing shows well on the majority of the rifle with the exception of the right hand side of the receiver where it looks like moisture sat on it and took of the finish, has lightly freckled as seen in pictures. Wood stocks are in nice shape, some light finish loss and handling marks throughout and one fairly decent rub on the left side of the forestock. Bore is excellent. -Browning trombone .22 pump with a vintage Weaver G4 fixed power scope -Manufactured in Belgium from 1922-74. -only 150,000 units were sold in 50 years. - low serial number 41290 means the approximate date of manufacturing could be around the 1930’s. -stock is NOT cracked from slam firing! (See pictures) (Always look for stock being cracked where it meets metal. That is typical of these rifles especially older ones. Slam firing is where you hold the trigger down while pumping the action and it fires with each pump.) This one has not been wrecked by slam firing. -shoots s, l and lr. -hamnerless -cross bolt safety -take down version -for its age the wood and blueing are excellent.
