Extremely rare Smith & Wesson No 3 chambered in 455 Eley with target sites and a 1-9/16 inch cylinder Was a special order. This revolver still retains about 75% of the original bluing it comes with a 7 1/2 inch barrel checkered walnut grips showing where but good condition no chips or cracks. The trigger set is amazing. This revolver is one of twelve ordered and shipped to Birmingham England in 1905, this revolver frame was produced prior to 1888 as documented and is considered an Antique status in Canada. Antique Belgium copy of a Smith & Wesson number three double action  in 44 Russian calibre.  finish on this revolver is a nice brown patina with no rust or pitting. The two piece hard rubber grips  good condition with no chips or cracks. The revolver will function both in single and double action, but the hammer can be pushed off  single action, the timing and lock up are good.
