Our pups have been vet checked, dewormed-x2 & AVID Microchipped, by our vet on April 17th,2024. They are ready for their forever homes now, pickup or “delivery” can be arranged for the weekend of April 27th, 28th or 29th. We have some flexibility to travel to meet halfway for delivery. We live in Merritt and welcome families to come for a visit to Pick a pup in person. They were born in house in a 4’ x 8’ birthing pen with a large kennel attached for mom to watch and rest in. We have outdoor play areas, set up with hanging rope toys, crinkle toys, hanging balls and stuffies. The pups are handled often and well on their way to being crate trained. I have a Gray Pitbull Blue Nose Probably the best fog I’ve had so far He is very friendly with everyone, I love him so much but, I just cant have him. My work takes too much time from me and I am not able to actually take care of him properly. He has never been leashed for more than 2 hours. Most of the time there is someone who can watch for him but recently, there are some changes that are not letting me keep him. Things like, people that used to help me to watch for him don't want to help me anymore, they are tired of me asking for help or they simple just don't want to. Dog is friendly towards dogs, people, never seen cat but probably friendly to cats since he even have seen some chicken and dont hurt or hunt them, he just wants to play. Not spayed yet since I really like him being that energetic. Never bite anyone but he likes to chew A LOT, he has strong jaw so he breaks every toy i gave him.

Meet Disney! Don’t let her small stature (23lbs) and shy nature fool you, this girl is a FIRECRACKER! We lost our heart-dog in a freak accident Christmas morning and this little girl showed up as a stray Boxing Day. We decided to take her in as a personal foster; vaccinate, spay, and microchip her in his memory. She is all healed up from her spay on March 11th and now has the best chance at finding her ‘happily ever after’ with a family of her own. Disney is housebroken, crate trained, knows some basic commands, and well on her way to perfect leash manners. She has been exposed to livestock (though never worked them), loves our house cat, and leaves my chickens alone. However she is a mischievous spirit and I would not leave her unsupervised with them just yet. The vets believes her to be about a year old and a Heeler Australian Shepard mix. All we know is she is 100% good girl. She does appear to have allergies of some sort that make her a bit itchy, but we have it managed with food and it costs about $100 a month to feed her on it. It also turns her poop bright green which your kids will get a kick out of! Now because Disney spent the first year of her life as a stray she is very very shy when meeting new people and new dogs. She had a couple of puncture wounds when she was brought to us and would flinch and run away if we moved too fast. She is still holds that cautious nature with new people and will need time, patience, and understanding from her new family. That means no off leash time for awhile, slow introduction to rambunctious dogs an toddlers, and the understanding she won’t be the dog to instantly fall in love with you. She also is the dog to fear “leak” a little if you yell or handle her roughly. She does best with positive reinforcement training strategies. However give it a week with her and watch the switch flip. This girl is the definition of loyal. She is a tiny Diva and just wants all the love to make up for all the time she went without. When she decides you’re safe she is the ultimate Velcro dog. She is also increadibly smart and has a high working drive. She will need to go either to an acreage/farm home, someone who will bring her to work so she gets lots of exercise, or a family that gets she is a heeler and will need a ton of mental stimulation and exercise. We will not be adopting Disney out to an city home at this time as we do not feel based on her shyness and exercise needs it would fair to her or her new family. Potential adopters with small young children who do not have good dog manners yet, may not also be a fit for her. Disney has a foster home and safe place with us as long as she needs, and that includes if her potential adoptive family takes her and decides she is not a fit. We love her to death, and cannot wait to see her thrive in her new life ❤️ Please reach out for a meet and great if interested in this sweet girl. He enjoys running outside, being active, and human attention. He is not a dog for someone who is gone a lot or for long periods of time, he also is not a dog to be kept cooped up - his ideal day is a hot summer out in the yard and a relaxing evening on the couch inside a home with an owner. Would not be okay left unattended in a barn over night - he’s not that kind of dog he likes to be out in the day but at night he wants to be in on the couch, in the lap of a human. He needs daily exercise time to run, stretch his legs and burn off energy. He would do best with either an elderly couple who likes to go for walks on local city trails, garden outside, enjoys their backyard but also is home throughout the day. Or On a farm/ranch working with other herding breeds in the day time, and inside on an old lazy boy recliner watching the game with his human by evening. We lost our home, have been reduced to an rv, have a baby and despite our best efforts to try to make it work - we now see there’s a difference in “making it work” and being fair to his needs. Keeping him at this point is selfish and doing more harm than giving him an opportunity in an established home.
