1804 Pedersoli Potsdam Musket. Antique..NO PAL REQUIRED
I have a mint Pedersoli 1804 Potsdam Musket (smooth bore) in .75 (calibre)It is in immaculate condition with no rust or pitting. As it is a flintlock, it is listed as an antique so, no PAL is needed to own or possess this musket. Asking $1,500.00. Offers welcome. Local deals are preferred as shipping will be quite expensive for the buyer. So, I've had several comments that Antique firearms DO require a PAL and that I'm crazy. Well I am crazy but not about this subject. FYI Criminal Code of Canada Section 84(1) antique firearm means (a) any firearm manufactured before 1898 that was not designed to discharge rim-fire or centre-fire ammunition and that has not been redesigned to discharge such ammunition, or (b) any firearm that is prescribed to be an antique firearm; (arme à feu historique) Regulations Prescribing Antique Firearms Prescription 1 The firearms listed in the schedule are antique firearms for the purposes of paragraph (b) of the definition antique firearm in subsection 84(1) of the Criminal Code. Photo of 1993 Browning BLR 81L Long Action – Mint condition – 7mm Rem. Mag.
$2200
1993 Browning BLR 81L Long Action – Mint condition – 7mm Rem. Mag.
Looking to part with my beautiful Browning BLR 81L Long Action in 7mm Rem Mag. Serial # trace sets it as manufactured in 1993. Heavy steel receiver and made in Japan. You may find the odd minor blemish here and there on the stock if you look really, really hard. But the stock and bluing is near perfect top to bottom. Slight discoloration on the side of the bolt as shown in the photos. I bought this rifle at a gun show a couple years back and don't know who the first owners were. I had plans of topping it with an optic but have not purchased one for it (just the bases). I have put 38 rounds down range over the past 4 years with the irons. Always cleaned and lightly oiled after each use. It is hard to believe this rifle is 33 years old. I just don't love the lever action as much as I thought I would, and I'm looking to change to a bolt action in a different caliber for my future intentions. That being said, this action and BLR is as smooth as butter. Package includes: Rifle: Browning BLR 81L – Long Action (7mm Rem Mag). Magazines: Two 3-round detachable box magazines. One is open box but unused. I bought it as an extra, and one came with the rifle. (these are expensive to buy separately, usually $130-150 each–made in Japan). Bases: Warne Maxima Steel 2-piece bases (installed and specific to the rounded steel BLR receiver). Sling: Browning branded paracord/padded sling. Maintenance: Hoppe’s 9 BoreSnake Viper (7mm specific) Ammo: 42 rounds – 37x154gr Hornady Interlock SP and 5x175gr Rem. Core Lokt SP and storage case. 1xAllen cable lock with two keys Whole package is $2200. Serious offers only please. Lowball offers will not be considered. Local sale preferred but can ship on buyer's dime. I am up and down Vancouver Island regularly and can meet at your local range or somewhere comfortable. PAL verification required. Feel free to reach out with any questions, or if you'd like more photos. Thanks for looking!
