Looking to sell my Weatherby Vanguard in .243 Winchester. Comes with the Bushnell Engage 3-9x40 optic. Can also throw in 3 boxes of brass, 18 rounds of loaded ammo and a set of reloading dies as I'll have no use for them. The gun runs great and shoots fantastic out to 400 yards. Selling/trading a Ruger Precision Gen III in 6mm Creedmoor. Overall it's in very nice shape. 24" barrel. Steel is all in very nice shape with only light imperfections here and there. Bore is in excellent shape, doesn't appear to have seen any sort of excessive use. Comes as seen with factory muzzle brake, folding adjustable stock, integrated rail, and one detachable magazine. Was used a fair bit but remains in as new condition. No rust or scratches or such. Replaced the expander ball with the carbide version. Original expander plug is still in the case. Still has the original case holder. Includes spare decapping pin. I don't shoot 243win anymore so this is excess to my needs and I'd just as soon clear it out. Using the same principle as electroplating, this system uses a low voltage and chemicals to remove the lead or copper from your barrel and plate it on the sacrificial anode (stainless steel rod) that you insert in the barrel. It did work in my 243 win 1885 but I just don't shoot enough to make it worthwhile. I think if you had some heavily fouled barrels, maybe a cache of military surplus for example this would be alot less work that scrubbing forever. Comes with the controller, the chemicals, the stainless steel rod and the electrochemical isolation doo-dads. Not sure about shipping as the rods are 30" long and there are two chemicals.
