Shilen 6mm Rem Ackley barrel for a savage action
I'm selling my Shilen Select match barrel for a savage small shank action. The barrel is an S7 sendero contour, 26" 1:8 twist, 4 groove with a .274 no turn neck. The barrel has seen exactly 725 rounds through it with slow burning powders, every round is documented and recorded along with load data for each round fired. Lots of barrel life left,This was not a comp barrel, no prolonged strings of fire. It was a deer,coyote gun. Very accurate and liked multiple different bullets. Only reason for selling is I had a new barrel done in 6 Rem AI in an IBI carbon fiber barrel for a lighter weight rig.
The barrel new almost $700 plus shipping. It is an easy 1/2" MOA barrel. Asking $330 Firm
I also have 100 pieces of Lapua 30-06 brass that have been formed and neck turned with one firing for this barrel, better than any brass you can find for the 6mm Rem. These can be had for $80 additional.
