I have for sale a very nice Ruger 96.  It is chambered in the 44 mag cartridge.  It is in very nice condition. The blueing is close to excellent and the wood is very good with a bit of wear from use and a few very small bumps and nicks but nothing bad at all. The bore is excellent and the rifle functions exactly as it was intended to. I have fired this rifle and found it to be extremely accurate and easy to shoot. The case coloring on the lever is very nice. I will sell it in different ways Rifle as you see it with one mag $1800.00 Rifle as you see it with two mags $1850.00 I can also include a newer Bushnell banner 1.5 X 4.5 scope and mounts for an extra $150.00 Pal is a must. This ORIGINAL 1895 Marlin rifle was shipped from the New Haven, Connecticut factory on Apr. 29, 1903. Solidly built for the larger calibers, this one in 38-56 cal. and is in NRA fine condition. The receiver now appears as silver although its original case hardening pattern can still be made out. The rest of the metal has taken on a brownish patina. All numbers and lettering are sharp and legible. The barrel a 26 inch long smokeless steel SPECIAL order half round, half octagon version, with a 1/2 magazine. The bore is good with intact rifling and a bit of shine. The wood is a SPECIAL order walnut with a beautiful grain pattern on both the forearm as well as the butt stock. While no longer factory available the 38-56 caliber is equivalent to the 35 Rem. Reloading components are available from various sources. Marlin only produced only 18,000 Model 1895's, in contrast to Winchester producing 160,000 model 1886's which was the Marlin's counterpart and competition. This alone makes the Marlin a comparatively rare firearm. Factory Letter is included. All components that are numbered have been determined to be Matching! This includes the extra fancy stocks which do not show up in the letter. The purchaser will assume all shipping costs as well as any desired insurance. Please respond via email. Selling/trading a Remington 700 BDL in .243. Overall it's in nice shape. The barrelled action is one of the original older Model 700's with a 5 digit serial number (no letter prefix or suffix), and flat safety lever. Sitting in a slightly newer BDL stock. 20" barrel. Bluing was redone and shows well in a bit of a more matte finish. Stock is also in good shape, normal bumps, bruises and dings throughout and is missing the pistol grip cap on the underside. Bore is in nice shape. Comes topped with a set of bases and its original iron sights. Looking for $1295 shipped. Insurance by request on buyer. Open to all trades.
