Born September 5th, 2023, Archer is looking for a new home again due to the unforeseen circumstances of his previous home. Archer is a special needs Australian Shepherd/border collie, he is deaf, but his vision is good and has been tested with OFA (the results say he may have some minor peripheral vision impairment, and potentially impaired vision in low light, but it doesn't seem to affect him very much. He is completely healthy in every other way. He is up-to-date on vaccinations and currently eats a raw diet (beef and chicken, 700 grams per day), and weighs roughly 50lbs. Archer is friendly with children and other pets, but when restrained on a leash or at night time he can be reactive to strangers and strange dogs outside and may lunge or vocalize loudly. He is great off leash and has great recall with the use of a remote collar, he is also house trained, and kennel trained, has good manners at open doors, and knows basic obedience commands. Archer loves to play, run, and be by your side at all times! It is easy to be charmed by his beauty, but please keep in mind he is a very strong and energetic guy, and will require an active and experienced family that can provide patience, solid leadership, and direction. I have a very good condition vintage Winchester 1885 in .45 70 that I'm prepared to sell. It started out as a .38-55 and was sleeved to .22 l.r.. I had the 28 inch, half octagon, half round heavy barrel bored and rechambered by Ron K. Smith in Alberta to .45 70 and an aperture sight installed. As you would expect with an RKS barrel, it is accurate. It has correct walnut stocks, refinished, with the heavy crescent butt plate. The action wall has been reduced on the right side to more easily eject spent .22 l.r. shells; Mr. Smith assured me this does not reduce the strength of the action. The lever/trigger guard has been modified to make levering faster. I've got $2800 invested in this rifle which I'd like to recover. I'll split actual shipping costs with the buyer. Brand new Partial Length Picatinny/ACOG rail, 3 inches long and sits at the back part of the dust cover for a rear bias. It is the perfect length for red dot or holographic sights. It weighs 5 ounces/141g. The AK Master Mount™ patented optic mounts are unique and purpose built products for serious users. They are built as rugged as the rifle itself. It's low profile with a low axis over bore. It also has a unique quick release "Dual Axis Locking" lever and a “2 in 1” top rail design that can accommodate picatinny or ACOG based optics. Made in the USA. Dual-Axis Locking AK optic mounts secure to an AK receiver’s side rail by one of two main methods. The first method uses a rotating lever that has a contoured portion to rotate and lock into a corresponding cut-out in the side rail. Many of the traditional com-bloc optic mounts utilized this design and are broadly referred to as SVD styled mounts. This method is primarily securing the optic mount in the horizontal axis. The second method utilizes a rotating lever to deform the bottom part of the mount to “crimp” onto the side rail. These mounts are not really quick release despite their labeling as such, and this mount deformation makes it difficult to resize the mount to a different side rail on a different rifle. The more modern approach to this method is to use the rotating lever to manipulate a spring loaded clamping bar to compress against the receiver’s side rail to make it quick release capable. These style mounts are prone to “walking” along the side rail with heavy shooting sessions as they only secure the optic mount in the vertical axis. These two techniques have been combined in a patented design to firmly secure our optic mount to an AK’s side rail in both the vertical and horizontal axis to make it Dual Axis Locking. This secure attachment maintains optics zero even with sustained heavy shooting sessions. The clamping bar is also longer than the other optics mounts on the market to provide additional clamping surface contact, and two springs are used in the clamping bar mechanism for increased clamping bar stability and true quick release capability. Low Axis Over Bore The optic mount's low profile hugs the side of the AK receiver and the dust cover to deliver a low axis over bore placement. This allows simultaneous use of the rifle's iron sights if needed. The 12 sided proprietary locking bolt provides for a greater clamping bar tension range, twice that of most optic mounts on the market. This allows for true fine tuning of the clamping bar’s clamping force, and it also ensures proper fitting on side rails of slightly different dimensions on different rifles. Optics zero is maintained. Built Rugged As the AK Itself The optic mounts are machined from a solid block of 6061-T6 aluminum to achieve superior strength, but yet be weight conscious. Its one piece design keeps things simple, maintains structural integrity, and avoids fastener failures or movement that can occur in two piece optic mounts. Likewise the optic mounts were intentionally overbuilt with heavy duty struts to reliably support its integral 2-in-1Picatinny / ACOG rail and any attached optics. Its robust struts then pleasantly blend into the body of the mount which is also rugged enough to withstand whatever abuses are thrown at it. Despite the mounts ruggedness, the edges been rounded and contoured to make it egronomic, snag free and good looking. No wimpy levers here. The throw lever is also heavy duty and is fully inset into the body of the mount to protect it from any snags and accidental release. Accessory Side Rail Built into the struts supporting the top rail are cut-outs that allow for the use of optional Accessory Side Rails. These offset rails allow for use of additional sighting solutions and accessories. Compatibility The AK Master Mount™ AKM version optic mounts are specifically designed for the standard pattern AK side rail. The MasterMount T81 Side Rail was specifically designed to provide ideal positioning, cheek weld and ergonomics when used with a Type 81 rifle. Not compatible with Underfolder. Greater Optics Versatility. Superior Finish. A unique feature of the optic mount is the proprietary rail on the top. The standard picatinny rail pattern has been combined with the ACOG base pattern into one combined rail section. This “2-in-1” rail design allows for more versatility in optics choice by not having to buy two different optic mounts, or an adapter, to accommodate optics with a picatinny base or an ACOG base. The patented AK Master Mount™ optic mount build is made with 6061-T6 alloy completed with a black hardcoat (type III) anodized finish that not only looks great, but adds additional structural strength and wear resistance.
