🏕️ Hunting Camp – Bonanza, AB (WMU 358 & 359) | Saddle Hills Elk Country 🦌 Clean Beds, Hot Showers & Basic Comfort – Just for Hunters Hey folks, If you're planning a hunt in WMU 358 or 359, I am setting up a hunting camp in Bonanza, Alberta – right across the road from Saddle Hills / Hwy 49, one of the best elk hunting areas in the province. This place is often called elk paradise, and for good reason. This is my first season running the camp, and to be upfront – I’m not a professional outfitter or chef, and this is definitely not a 5-star lodge. It’s a work in progress, and should be ready any day now. Just a clean, simple, no-nonsense camp built for real hunters who need a warm bed, hot shower, and a place to hang up their gear (and hopefully your elk). 🛖 Camp Setup: ATCO trailers with power, water & heat Warm beds and hot showers Secure gear and game storage Space for trucks, trailers & ATVs Bonanza General Store & gas station ~ 2 km away (not walking distance – bring wheels!) 🚌 RV Info: RV parking allowed this year (dry parking only) No hookups yet, but powered sites coming in future seasons 🍖 Meat Shop & Hiring: We have a meat shop onsite Currently looking for a meat cutter – if you or someone you know knows their way around wild game, give me a shout. I’m not a pro butcher myself… I can boil an egg, but that’s about it 😅 🦌 Coming Soon: On-site butchering facility Game hanging station for elk, moose, and deer 🚫 Please Note: This is a dry camp – no alcohol allowed We keep it quiet and respectful – a real hunting camp atmosphere 📍 Location: Bonanza, Alberta – WMU 358 & 359 35 mins to Dawson Creek, BC 50 mins to Spirit River, AB I’m just getting this thing going, so it’s not fancy – but if you're looking for a warm, clean place to crash after a hard day in the bush, I’ve got you covered. 📞 780 266 1169 TEXTS ONLY PLEASE! Feel free to message me if you’ve got questions, want to book a spot, or if you’re a meat cutter looking for work! Good luck this season and hunt safe! 🎯🦌

Bought to renovate, however our craftsman/renovator, our son, has developed severe pain and is doing what he is able — mostly caring for some of our livestock. If you read this far, here’s a special offer. Have this on a low-interest loan until November, and will accept 3 or 4 instalments towards full purchase price. Can provide references that we are trustworthy. ______________ If you are setting up home on bare land, owning a unit like this has several advantages over purchasing an older mobile house trailer. It is cheaper to move ( 1/2 or 1/4 the cost. Easier to set up. Most likely in better condition. Keeps a better resale value—in addition to private interest, businesses will be interested in a unit like this for a bunkhouse or office space or for use at a project site. Can also be repurposed into a shop or storage space. Or a guest house — after you move into your new permanent home. ____________ How do I know all this? I have bought an older mobile which cost $3000 and $3000 to move. Took 1000s more to repair and it still needs more. Bought another one for $1.00. Yes one dollar. It was double-wide and took $10,000+ to move and 1000s to set it up and make it a comfortable space. One final point, counties aren’t happy with older mobiles, and insurance companies won’t insure them. And…. well that’s enough sharing for one ad…
