He turned out to be an amazing family dog Jasper is 3.5 years old and produces sperm Breeding can be done by natural breeding or AI. He has sired 10 healthy litters of different peoples dogs, and carries genes that have produced an amazing variety of puppies; Red Merle’s, Blue Merle’s, Black & Whites, Tricoloured, Solid Red, and Brown puppies. He had these colouration combos as his mom was black and white, dad was a red merle, and grandma was tricolored. His further descendants likely carried further coat colors, as he has produced a variety of coats on all his pups. Jasper is great with people, other animals, and does well by himself or in crowds. His mother was a trained cattle dog. Jasper has a long coat. His father has a long coat, and his mother has a short coat, so his pups can have a variety of coat lengths. I purposefully bred his mother to produce him as a mixed breed, because it helps with health, life longevity, and a larger genetic diversity, and a lower coefficient of inbreeding. This coat is also excellent for our habitat and seasons, where he is fine in winter or summer. He is able to make beautiful pups. He is very muscular. The dogs he would go good with, considering they are healthy, include breeds such as a German Shepherd, Husky, Aussie, Collie, Retriever, Maremma, Poodle, and other medium to large healthy dogs. This 12g is in good shape for being made around 1907. It’s made by Marlin for the National Fire Arms Co and is identical to an 1898 model Marlin for TakeDown steps. Some say it’s a Model 21 Marlin. We have left the investigation to the new owner as well as the safety to shoot this nearly 120 year old shotgun is your responsibility. There is an old wrist repair that was well done and still solid. Make a great display piece, and comes with 1 brass 12g case with primer. Has a great patina on receiver, 50% blue remains on barrel. This is a cool take down gun with a 30” barrel and is a true piece of History!

WAS $1200 Now $1000 According to the serial number 161XXX, it puts the date of manufacturing to 1902, crescent butt plate, semi-buckhorn rear sight, all original except rear sight elevator is a replacement. Round 26" barrel, dark bore, good rifling, approx. 20% plum finish remains with lacquering on some of the metal. Dark walnut forend & stock (original) with the stock having a small piece missing from the left side and about a 1.25" old crack on the wood right side both near the bottom of the tang/guard (pictures are attached) but stock is still mounted solid to the tang. Action is still quite tight for it's age and old sling swivels had been added to the rifle at some point in it's younger years. Must have valid PAL to purchase and will be verified.
