Social & Leisure Services Aide – Permanent Part Time Position .5 FTE
Chateau Lac Ste. Anne – Onoway
Directly reporting to the Activity Coordinator, the Social & Leisure Services Aide is accountable for: Resident Relations and Program Implementation. This position entails a high level of interaction with seniors and requires some physical endurance (e.g. maneuvering wheelchairs). Offsite day trips are occasionally scheduled. The Social and Leisure Services Aide is accountable for assisting the Activity Coordinator as directed.
Essential Functions / Responsibilities:
• Maintain rapport with residents
• Assist in determining individual and overall interests of residents
• Communicate available programs and upcoming events
• Provide information pertaining to social and leisure opportunities offered within the community
• Perform activity and event preparation according to approved schedule
• Lead activities as required
• Maintain record of programs and participation
Skills, Knowledge, Qualifications & Experience:
Proven success in the following job competencies:
• High School diploma
• Previous work experience with seniors
• Previous experience with volunteer groups

Job Description:
The Daycare at The Lake Louise Ski Resort is a licensed drop in centre serving our skier families and avid recreationists from all over the world. The primary responsibility of a Daycare Attendant is to ensure an enjoyable and safe stay for the children at The Lake Louise Ski Resort Daycare. The attendant will build positive and respectful relationships with children and parents and ensure that equipment and facilities are clean, safe and well maintained.
Job Responsibilities:
Plan and implement activities to meet the physical, emotional, intellectual and social needs of the children in the daycare
Ensure equipment and the facility are clean, well maintained and safe at all times
Be familiar with emergency procedures
Ensure children are supervised at all times
Prepare nutritious snacks and lunches
Develop & maintain good customer relations with families enrolling children
Clearly and effectively communicate in a manner that children understand
Job Requirements/Qualifications:
Level 2 or 3 Alberta Early Childhood Educator Certification is required (see website for details https://www.alberta.ca/child-care-staff-certification.aspx)
Previous work or school experience in Childcare and Early Education is essential
All International applicants must have proof of Canada-approved medical examination and clearance in order to be considered for this position
First Aid certification is required

The Retail Store Manager is responsible for the daily operations and profitability of the establishment according to set goals and business objectives. Daily operations include staff management, customer satisfaction, neat product presentation, inventory management and carrying out seasonal changes and promotional activities.
Job Duties
Greet and assist customers in a manner that models exemplary conduct to other staff.

Requirements
Valid QCW/Sell Safe certification is mandatory to work in a Cannabis store in Alberta.
Completion of high school and College/CEGEP/vocational or technical training.
Minimum of 5 year work experience in a supervisory role in a retail environment.
Proven excellent customer service skills.
Management experience preferred.
Excellent time management and prioritizing skills.
Demonstrated ability to train and motivate staff.
Skills to monitor and assess staff performance.
Basic office administration skills.
