Selling/trading a Browning A Bolt Medallion in .300 Win Mag. Overall it's in very nice shape. Made in 1986, this would have been prior to the factory scroll work on the receiver on the Medallion models - serial number does confirm that it is an early Medallion. Bluing is in good shape, shows normal marks and some light fading here and three. Stock has been refinished and shows well, a few normal bumps and bruises throughout. Bore is very nice. Comes topped with bases and a set of 1" Weaver rings. Will come with one detachable magazine. Inletting on the underside of the stock where the mag sits has been slightly opened up, not perfectly done but the mag does fit fine. Looking for $1095 shipped. Insurance by request on buyer. Selling as i have less time to shoot rifles and this one deserves to go to someone who will shoot it. I know there is varying reviews on these conversions. My understanding is most (possibly all) were done by century arms and some cycled and some did not. Do your own research please. This one has cycled 125rds of the lake city ammo for me and I don't recall any failures. Both mags did work. Can't guarantee any other ammo as I only tried the one. At the time I acquired this rifle the original scopes were either unavailable or very expensive. I found the vomz played the part. The front is attached with an original ring and a bushing. The back I had to make a scope ring to clamp the back in place. It's machined aluminum painted black. There is just enough room to slide the scope on and off its rail without having to remove the scope from the mount.
