Selling/trading a Winchester Model 1894 in 38-55. Overall it's in fair shape. 22.5" barrel, made in 1904. Bluing has faded and turned to a darker patina. Wood stocks show their age, normal marks/scuffs, shrinkage, and hairlines. Fitment at the tang isn't all that great. Bore is dark and shows some pitting, would probably clean up a bit better with some elbow grease. This rifle hasn't been fired in many years and could use a good going through. As a result it will be sold as is with no warranty or guarantees. Looking for $950 shipped. Insurance by request on buyer. Open to all trades. Can send more pictures upon request. Winchester Model 94 lever action rifle. This one is a limited edition centennial model, marked "1894-1994" on the right side of the receiver, commemorating the 100th anniversary of the Model 94 rifle. Caliber is .30-30. This is the Ranger model, with angle eject and crossbolt safety. Like other Model 94s, it has a 20 inch barrel, open sights, smooth hardwood stock and a 6 shot tube magazine. This rifle is in mint condition. The metal is beautiful, no rust or pitting anywhere, bore is bright and shiny. The condition of the wood is also excellent with no dings or scratches. This one was likely a safe queen.

This ORIGINAL 1895 Marlin rifle was shipped from the New Haven, Connecticut factory on Apr. 29, 1903. Solidly built for the larger calibers, this one in 38-56 cal. and is in NRA fine condition. The receiver now appears as silver although its original case hardening pattern can still be made out. The rest of the metal has taken on a brownish patina. All numbers and lettering are sharp and legible. The barrel a 26 inch long smokeless steel SPECIAL order half round, half octagon version, with a 1/2 magazine. The bore is good with intact rifling and a bit of shine. The wood is a SPECIAL order walnut with a beautiful grain pattern on both the forearm as well as the butt stock. While no longer factory available the 38-56 caliber is equivalent to the 35 Rem. Reloading components are available from various sources. Marlin only produced only 18,000 Model 1895's, in contrast to Winchester producing 160,000 model 1886's which was the Marlin's counterpart and competition. This alone makes the Marlin a comparatively rare firearm. Factory Letter is included. All components that are numbered have been determined to be Matching! This includes the extra fancy stocks which do not show up in the letter. The purchaser will assume all shipping costs as well as any desired insurance. Please respond via email. Up for sale is a Winchester model 70 called " The Westerner " . The rifle  is actually engraved from the factory "The Westerner".   I have done research and can't seem to find anything out about what why these were made or what it meant. They seem to be extremely hard to come by.  This rifle is in excellent shape and has seen hardly any use. It's in easy to get ammo .243. It has a very smooth action and has a blind 5 round mag that opens from the bottom to empty out.  The wood is beautiful  with some marks. I have taken some pictures to show it.  It comes with the rings , bases and a Simmons 3x9x40  scope mounted and sighted but should be fined tuned to your preference.  From my research the " Westerner " rifles are fitted with a 2 inch longer barrel, scroll work done on the receiver, checkering done in the stock . Not pressed checkering , actual checkering. A different lighter colored wood, then the usual dark wood stock of Winchester. I do not want to get messages that this is a low end $ 700 Winchester as that is not the case. You will be ignored with EXTREME PREJUDICE! I'm allergic to STUPID, and I break out in SARCASM. So you have been warned. The asking price is $1500 + shipping obo. The pictures don't do this rifle justice as she really I a beautiful rifle.  You can try trades. Looking for a pump or semi action shotgun for hunting  that does 3inch plus shells.  Also looking for a Remington model 700 in .270 or 30.06, with a detachable magazine system.
