Near mint condition, would be mint but there are the usual light scratches here and there on the dust cover, although very minimal. This turntable was last serviced 2 years ago with a new belt installed at that time. Recently cleaned the pitch control pots with Deoxit, keeps speed perfectly. Primary use of this turntable back in the day was to transfer vinyl records over to cassette tape. Approx 75 records were transferred then it was stored until now. Not a whole lot of use on the player. Comes with a Shure M91ED MM cartridge and stylus. You would be hard pressed to find another SL-23 in this condition. NOT for SALE - LILJA Warranty reference only. MAY 7, 2024 - Fifth anniversary. News Update; By acquiring a quality bore scope, I was able to see the problem with barrel. The rifling lands in front of the chamber had separated from barrel for about 1.25" and 1 land was protruding into bore. Cut off 2" of barrel chamber end. Machined new barrel end to fit receiver tighter by .002" and rechambered for 22 short only. At range gun shot 1/4" - 5 shot group at 50 yds. shooting CCI 22 short - 27 gr. HP. Seems the rifling is not shot out but can not understand rifling land separation. UNIQUE -- NO WARRANTY or REFUND from LILJA. Call phone or e-mail only. No messages. Aug. 27/24: Over the past 3 years I just added 3817 rds. of CCI 22 shorts to round count. Still shooting 1/4" groups at 50 yds.
