I am selling a very good conditioned Ruger M77 Hawkeye in 223 Rem. The overall condition of the barrrel, action and bottom metals are excellent, the blue shines very nice and has very little or no flaws or fade observed. The rings are 1” and came off another M77 and aren’t as nice as the rifle but still in very good condition. The stock is in overall very good shape and if it wasn’t for one visible bump on the Buttstock I would rate the stock excellent. The rifling lands in front of the chamber had separated from barrel for about 1.25" and 1 land was protruding into bore. Cut off 2" of barrel chamber end. Machined new barrel end to fit receiver tighter by .002" and rechambered for 22 short only. At range gun shot 1/4" - 5 shot group at 50 yds. shooting CCI 22 short - 27 gr. HP. Seems the rifling is not shot out but can not understand rifling land separation. UNIQUE -- NO WARRANTY or REFUND from LILJA. Call phone or e-mail only. No messages.
