I have a lightly used Spartan 300 Bipod The Spartan Javelin 300 bipod answers the needs of users who require an ultralight weight bipod that can be installed in seconds and folded and locked under the rifle. Using its patented magnetic attachment system and utilizing a high quality 7000 series lightweight aluminum body, carbon fiber legs and stainless steel fittings. It has been designed with input from experienced hunters and US Special Forces operators. General Characteristics: · Height from 19 to 23 cm. and it only takes 21.5 cm in your pocket. · Weight of only 160 grams. · Rotation and ease of tilt allow a high degree of rifle displacement and leveling in the field. · Patented magnetic attachment system that allows instant installation and removal of the rifle. · Possibility of folding forward or backward along the rifle stock and locking in position. · Rubber and tungsten carbide caps, for different hunting environments. I bought this 2 years ago for $750 ($470 US with shipping, exchange, duty etc) I use my tripod 95% of the time so this had been in my pocked for most of my hunting trips. (Sale/Trade) Ruger Gunsite Scout 308 win
Ruger M77 Scout (.308 Win) – Compact, Powerful, and Versatile Great all-around rifle based on the scout-rifle idea—light, handy, and built to do pretty much any job. Chambered in .308 Win with a 10-round mag. Barrel is 5/8x24 threaded and comes with the flash suppressor. Has a solid stainless bolt, Mauser-style extractor, hammer-forged barrel, and a tough laminate stock. Peep sight in the back, post in the front. Just a reliable, easy-to-run rifle ready for hunting or whatever you throw at it. Features: The forward-mounted Picatinny rail allows for the mounting of modern optics, like an intermediate eye relief scope (not included), for "both eyes open" sighting and super-fast target acquisition. Also offers a built-in, accurate sighting system with ghost ring adjustable rear aperture sight and a non-glare, protected blade front sight. Detachable box magazine with push-forward magazine release just forward of the trigger guard. Patented integral scope mounts, machined directly on the solid-steel receiver, provide a stable mounting surface for scope rings, eliminating a potential source of looseness and inaccuracy in the field (scope rings included). Soft rubber buttpad with buttpad spacers allows the rifle to be properly sized for different shooters or varying levels of outerwear or defensive gear (three 1/2" spacers included). Free-floated, cold hammer-forged barrel with ultra-precise rifling that provides exceptional accuracy, longevity, and easy cleaning. Rugged and reliable with a glass-reinforced nylon trigger guard and magazine well. Non-rotating, Mauser-type controlled round feed extractor is the most positive case extraction system ever invented, and features a fixed blade-type ejector that positively ejects the empty cases as the bolt is moved fully rearward. Developed with Gunsite, this rifle is "Gunsite Approved" and features the Gunsite name rollmarked on the receiver and engraved on the grip cap of laminate stock models. Caliber: .308 Winchester Capacity: 10 Action: Bolt Stock: Black Laminate Barrel: 16.1", Free-Float, Cold Hammer-Forged, Threaded (5/8"-24) w/ Flash Suppressor Twist: 1:10" RH Safety: Manual Thumb Sights: Adjustable Rear, Protected Blade Front Overall Length: 37" Length of Pull: 12.75" Weight: 7.1 Selling some of my rifles to fund a long range pakcage in 300 wm, 308, 6.5cm and willing to trade accordingly. BARLEY CORN FRONT SIGHT WITH RAMP, ADJUSTABLE U NOTCHED REAR SIGHT, SILVER BOLT WITH RED POLYMER BOLT KNOBS. METAL FINISH TURNING SILVER GREY WITH LIGHT PITTING, SCRATCHES, HANDLING MARKS AND WEAR. STOCKS SHOW DINGS, MARKS AND WEAR. ACTION: STRAIGHT PULL RIFLE, BARREL LENGTH: 30.75", CLASS: CANADIAN NON RESTRICTED. The Schmidt–Rubin rifles were a series of Swiss Army service rifles in use between 1889 and 1958. They are distinguished by the straight-pull bolt action invented by Rudolf Schmidt and use Eduard Rubin's GP90 7.5×53.5 and GP11 7.5×55 Schmidt–Rubin rifle cartridge. The Schmidt–Rubin 1896/11 rifle, or the Model 96/11, was a Swiss upgrade to the 89/96 rifles they had, to use the more powerful cartridge adopted as the GP11. The GP11 cartridge operated at a higher chamber pressure, which the 89/96 action could easily handle. The model 89/96 rifles were modernized by changing the three-groove rifled barrel to a new 4-groove type, adding a pistol grip to the stock, changing the magazine to the 6-round type used in the 1900 short rifle, and modernizing the sights. This also streamlined the appearance of the rifles. Because more rifles were needed than were available, the model 1911 rifle, with slight changes, was put into production. Almost all of the 127,000-plus model 89/96 rifles were converted to the 96/11 specifications. An improvement over the original 1889 version of the Schmidt–Rubin rifle, the Swiss M1911 placed the locking lugs in the middle of the bolt, rather than at the rear, strengthening the action and allowing a more powerful cartridge, the Gewehrpatrone 11 or GP 11 to be used. It is distinguished from the 96/11 rifle by a curved butt plate and by a stock with an integral semi-pistol grip. It uses a graduated tangent sight which begins at 300 meters. The 1911 and 96/11 rifles were made with excellent craftsmanship, and were exceptionally accurate. As Switzerland remained neutral through both world wars, remaining rifles are typically in far better condition than other European rifles of the time.
