The word Paragon means, “a model of excellence”. And this is true of this optic series. I see the Paragon as being the technological descendant of the old Bellorussian PK-AS sight, a one power prism sight that through innovative use of lenses, seems to have a nearly non existent edge when you look through it. Thick opaque edges serve only to limit situational awareness. Competing brands and their prism sights are a miss due to large knobs… they are “good enough”. But the nearly invisible edge of the PK-AS and later on the Paragon discarded the idea that “good enough” was actually “good enough” in regards to situational awareness. Unlike the PK-AS, the Paragon is designed to be small and light. Like New Bergara B14R 22LR Barrel does not include Muzzle Brake. Approximately 300 rounds down the pipe while I waited for my custom barrel to be finished. Loves SK Match very accurate. This came from a brand new barrelled action. If you look hard there is a slight mark from the barrel vice to remove the barrel as shown in the picture. I used a black barrel pen on it and unless the light hits it you can’t see it. Shipping $20
