Here you have a good too very good condition overall Lee Enfield jungle carbine. Appears to have had armoury repairs to the for Stock at one point in time. However, this rifle functions exactly how it should. Whether or not you were looking for something to collect or something to shoot you will have no issues with this rifle whatsoever. Comes with a period correct adjustable sling. The rifling is in very good condition and clean. Also has a rear elevator site. The bolt and breach seem to be mismatched. Original British issued, Lee Enfield No5 Jungle carbine chambered in .303 British. This particular example is in very good condition with only minor finish wear/loss found on the rifle. Wood stock is in similar condition with a few dents, dings and scratches in the wood. Mechanically the rifle is excellent. The bore looks great, strong lands and grooves but the bore is dark from use..

Picked up this rifle a while back in a deal and it is surplus to my needs.  1943 dated No1 MkIII* made by Enfield during WW2.  It is non-matching and has an Australian '41 dated barrel put on it at some point. Action and barrel have some tooling marks from the barrel change. Action has some minor surface corrosion and still has cosmoline in the nooks and crannies.  Bright shiny bore with good rifling. Has Parker Hale Hook type sling swivel attachments. Comes with proper 10 rnd mag. Mag could use some steel wool and bluing. As stated, picked it up in a deal and I know nothing of it other than I was told it had no problems and shot well.  Pick up in St Albert. Can ship on buyer's coin. PAL will need to be verified.
