For sale is a Savage model 1899 lever action rifle. Chambered in SAV .303. Rotary style 5 shot magazine. 26" Barrel. Serial number 106710 dates it to 1910. The front fore grip had a crack in it was professional repaired by a local gunsmith. The blueing was also redone. Other than that the rifle is in good condition for its age, see pictures. The windage adjustment of the rear sight was also dispensed with, and the cocking piece was changed from a round knob to a serrated slab. Selling/trading an Enfield No. 4 Mk I Sporter .303 British. Overall it's in good shape. Dated 1945,  barrel and receiver match. Steel is in good shape, shows some normal aging in the colour and finish. Wood stocks are in good shape as well with normal blemishes for its age. Forestock has tape on it around the barrel as the barrel band is loose without it. Bore is starting to darken but still has decent rifling left. Barrel is full length with original ears and bayonet lug, rear sight is original. Comes with one detachable magazine. Looking for $295 shipped. Insurance by request on buyer. Open to all trades. This one is in great condition with a few handling marks. It is currently a little grubby from storage, but I’ll be cleaning it up shortly. Here you have a good too very good condition overall Lee Enfield jungle carbine. Appears to have had armoury repairs to the for Stock at one point in time. However, this rifle functions exactly how it should. Whether or not you were looking for something to collect or something to shoot you will have no issues with this rifle whatsoever. Comes with a period correct adjustable sling. The rifling is in very good condition and clean. Also has a rear elevator site. The bolt and breach seem to be mismatched.
