For Sale: Restored Finnish captured Mosin-Nagant M1891 "3-Line Rifle" manufactured by Tula Imperial in 1894 chambered in 7.62x54mmR. This rifle has been restored via rust bluing which is how these would have been originally done back in the day. The stock has also been refinished through boiled linseed oil, also correct way these stocks were originally done, not how they were refurbished with shellac. Every part has been thoroughly restored and brought back to it's original condition. All parts that were originally left in the white have been polished. This gun is in amazing condition and is by far the most beautiful pre WW1 Mosin I have seen. This particular one is a super early dated 1894 and has a low serial number 120k, extremely low considering there were 30+ million Mosins produced. This one is also a Finnish captured one as denoted by the SA on the left side of the the chamber end of the barrel. This is less common to find today and from my knowledge, since the stock is dated 1899, the upper handguard was added on by the Finns, however I can't confirm this but would be my thinking as upper handguards weren't original pre 1902. This gun is not all matching. The only thing that matches the barrel/receiver is the bolt except for the cocking piece. I know the Finn's mixed parts up when they captured Mosins so this is common for Finnish captured Mosins, finding an all matching Finn Mosin is nearly impossible. All other parts as far as I can tell are Tula made though just different serial numbers. The stock was produced in 1899 as indicated by a stamp on the rear of the butt and a stamp on the right side as well. As far as condition goes, the metal itself is amazing especially being 130 years old. There is some minor pitting on the barrel underneath the rear sight as well as some on the sides of the chamber, but the stock hides it up and is usual given how old it is and continuous exposure to moisture inside the stock. The stock has a few dings and were eliminated as best as possible however there's 2 deeper dents on the left side near the hand groove in front of the magazine housing. There's also a 1 1/2 inch repair section on the left side of the rear of the barrel end near the cleaning rod but is fully in tact. The bore has great rifling with no signs of pitting, though is has been counterbored about 2 3/4 inch which is a good thing for something this old and for it to still be a great shooter. This definitely indicates that it had front line forward use and saw action. But even still, the rifling remains strong and doesn't seem to have any impact on accuracy, in fact, it's probably one of the most accurate mosins I've owned, though, it does shoot high like most milsurps from this time period. This being an antique, I can ship directly to your residence which is always nice. If you're looking for a beautiful example of these much harder to come by early Mosins, this is your gun!

Henry Wadsworth, an officer in the union army, met another of Allen's daughters while still in service during the war, and married into the family as well. Upon his discharge from the army, Wadsworth joined the company which was renamed "Ethan Allen & Co." After Allen's death in 1871, the two sons-in-law took over the firm and renamed it "Forehand & Wadsworth. They would become well known especially for their bulldogs, but also their many fine pocket and large-frame revolvers, single-shot deringers and pistols. Forehand & Wadsworth remained in business until 1890 when Henry Wadsworth retired and Sullivan renamed the company "Forehand Arms". Frank Wesson Single-Shot Pistol, .32 RF Short/Long RARE Frank Wesson, elder brother to Daniel Baird Wesson of S&W fame was an accomplished gunmaker when Daniel was still a boy. The two younger Wessons would apprentice with their oldest brother Edwin, and learn much of their expertise from this talented and versatile master. Frank would move to California in the 1850's, probably lured by the opportunities presented by the gold rush, making and repairing guns for the local needs. By 1859 he had moved back to Worceater where he set up shop in his own name. Frank is best known for his fine rifles, "bicycle rifles", deringers and single-shot pistols. Frank Wesson never ventured into the revolver market until he had partnered with his nephew Gilbert Harrington to form Wesson & Harrington. The revolver making business continued to evolve as Wesson & Harrington first, and then Harrington & Richardson.​ This is Frank Wesson's "medium frame" single-shot pistol, chambered in .32 rim fire. It is in excellent condition, with original blue. The little lever on the bottom of the frame releases the barrel lock when the hammer is in the safety position, and the barrel snaps open as it should. It will not open if the hammer is down, or fully cocked. The bore of the3 5/8 inch barrel is excellent and bright, with sharp rifling. The rosewood grips are very fine. This is an early model of the first variant, of which only about 1000 were ever made. SN 54, excellent overall.

For sale is a beautiful antique Union Jack No3 made by Hood Firearms in the mid to late 1870's and 80's. This is a 5 shot pocket pistol chambered in 32rf with factory engraving and Ivory or bone grip. The original finish has turned to a rather appealing patina. Comes with the display box. Originally purchased by me as a project, I have found that I have not been dedicating the rime to it and have decided to pass it on. I have shot it as seen in the videos but do not recommend it as a shooter without someone doing more tinkering. Mechanically the cylinder rotates but does not always lockup without help. Once locked up there is a little play but not severe. The trigger is really stiff and half cock doesn't work meaning you need to manually hold the hammer while loading and unloading. Howdy Townpost! I've got a nice little uncommon and good condition subcompact Remington for sale now! This started its life as a Remington Model 1865 New Model Police as a cap and ball percussion revolver in .36 caliber. Many of these were never percussion guns as they existed in a weird transition period. And Remington made some of them from the ground up as cartridge guns. This one most likely was in inventory as a percussion revolver and was turned into a .38 rimfire cartridge revolver based on the serial number, in my opinion. These are one of the more rare and lesser known Remington cap and ball guns that were made. Remington only made 18,000 between 1865 and 1873. So they are relatively uncommon and scarce gun today. This is actually my personal favorite model of Remington percussion revolver they're a very handy subcompact-sized gun by today's standards they're bigger and much more comfortable in the hand in the grip than the pocket models but nice and light unlike the full size military .44s and they point very naturally. This particular example is in very good condition the nickel is a very high percentage of coverage some of the original silver plate is still visible on the trigger guard and some of the low areas. The color case hardening is still very colorful and defined on the hammer (pictured). The grips have been refinished but they are the originals. The wood grain is very interesting and beautiful in my opinion. The bore is in excellent condition especially for a Civil War era black powder firearm. This was likely carried in a police officer's holster and not fired much. It was well taken care of and the clean and good condition bore and chambres are reflection of that. The the mechanical function of this firearm is excellent as well. When I got the firearm it was actually in amazing condition to begin with and the mechanical function was perfect. It locks up and times perfectly. The hammer and the trigger pull are very crisp, light and smooth. And didn't require any adjustment, Remington did the job and they did it right the first time. The entire revolver has been taken apart and given a gunsmith's cleaning and was reassembled and lightly oiled. I came across a nice little Hunter leather holster at a gun show and found that it fit this gun very well so it's included as a freebie with the gun (pictured). Howdy Townpost! I have a truly amazing one of a kind piece here for sale. I bought this for myself in the US over a year ago and I had it professionally restored and fully repaired. I am now looking to sell it. John Forbes, of Liverpool, was gunmaker to His Royal Highness, the Prince of Wales, later King George IV. And according to my research made mostly dueling and target pistols, and some small pocket pistols for only 5 years. Those years being 1805-1810. He spelt his name with I or Iohn and later switched the spelling to a J or John based on public records and some of the other examples of his dueling pistols that have sold at auction. That makes this a very rare and finely made pistol. This pistol would have cost a small fortune at the time it was made. Oftentimes dueling pistols come in pairs but it was cheaper to buy just one if they were offered as a single, and should you encounter someone who has insulted your honor and you demand satisfaction from them, they can bring their own pistol to the duel. The engraving is extremely fine, intricate and skilled. It would have taken many dozens of hours to complete and it was all done by hand. The engraving features drums, banners and spears, floral patterns, sunbursts on the base plate and lock, and a pineapple in the front of the trigger guard, which symbolizes wealth and status. Because this gun is a percussion conversion of the original flintlock mechanism the percussion hammer is engraved in a different style by a different engraver in a more simple floral and fish mouth style of engraving with gold inlay. Every screw is engraved to look like a flower and the escutcheons are also each engraved like a wreath. Overall there is a lot of fine detail with some simpler and less detailed later additions on the percussion mechanism and one spot on the side plate. The gun features gold inlay on the hammer which largely worn away. There is silver inlay on the outside of the breach, and a sterling silver wreath styled band wrapped around the base of the grip and a sliver bead front sight. The ramrod tip (which is a replacement) is silver plated brass, so too are the front stock cap near the muzzle, the rod pipe, cross key, and escutcheon around it are too. The grip baseplate is silver plated steel. The workmanship of this pistol is certainly of a quality of gunmaker worthy enough of being the gun maker of the Prince of Wales. I know the laws and am not interested in debating what is what because I already learned many times over what is still doable and allowed… Looking to buy or sell gold old silver US/bullion trade of valuables straight cash or both for older styles of single/action semiauto or double action revolvers ie Peacemaker colts are top of my list and single action is preferred in long or shorter barrel but decent enough calibers in other makes that are reliable enough to hunt with and yeah people hunt with good single actions due to accuracy and taking time, but for now its for safety in large property and target shooting obviously however i am also interested in short arms like the ranch hands with a full stock minimum and with a good ring/swivel or carry system even a decent strap w/quick release and back/side holster and belt or inner chest holster for for any antique or upgraded revolvers throughout 38/357 preferably for the smaller arms may be up for the classic .45 pissibly newer type semis in 9/45 …it all depends on what is good & you are willing to part with or have to sell/trade that is interesting though the older the better as a collector, grandfathered is again most preferred if its nonscript while still restricted there are still protections for us around that, used condition is fine as long as its a solid arm with no missing parts or kinks, bumps bruises scratches are fine within reason given character. ive been a Sr Cybersec and international investigator for 20+ years in the private sectors but worked closely with Dallas Sheriffs/S.S./FBI field offices and others like Interpol. due to my work and as much as they tell us it isnt a right in Canada its only because they twist our Charter around just because it doesn't specifically mention GUN protection at arms could mean stick and that is our governments ba argument remember that it is your right, besides you always lose your best ones on fishing trips they just fall into the lake constantly its crazy how that keeps happening to me. Also in the market for decent and reliable long shortbows preferably stronger the better with rest site but minimal breakpoint wood is good or takdowns extra string/ers knocks arrows tips fletches and a good quiver potentally not really into compounds but am into also recurves old school with a decent enough draw on all to hunt mid range game at a fair distance easiest set up the better but while my back is still out im paying extra for delivery so if you have multiples if arms/bows im willing to make it worth your while if its all quality. again: Know your rights and freedoms and don't give up or in ever - its all in the Bill. They are suppose to be infallible and yet gov. seem to have violated almost every single line in our Charter when it comes to just living. This is an excellent single action Smith & Wesson New. Model 3 in .44 Russian. This is an early production pistol as noted by the 4 digit serial number. This pistol is in superior condition given its age. The mechanics are excellent and the bore and chamber, though showing the typical evidence of black powder use, are in extremely good condition with strong rifling. Some original blue remains in protected areas with the balance faded to a very nice patina. It comes with a rare and highly collectible H.H. Heiser 3 loop antique holster which is probably not as old as the pistol itself. Overall, a highly collectible and desirable pistol. As with all antiques, no PAL or registration is required.

Selling/trading a French MAS Model 1873 revolver in 11mm French Ordinance. Overall it's in very nice shape. No PAL required, just proof of age. Looks to be an 1873/1874 frame and reworked in 1892. All numbers appear to be matching, one small piece of hardware is difficult to tell. Steel is all in beautiful shape in a nice bright patina, no real corrosion or pitting to note. Indexes very well in both single and double action. Grips are also very nice with only light wear to mention. Bore has nice life left in it, chambers are all nice as well.
