Savage 116 Weather Warrior 30-06Up for sale is my Savage 116 Weather Warrior in 30-06. This is the rare and unique "bear hunter" model, which comes with a factory standard adjustable muzzle brake, hinged floorplate magazine, as well as Savage's AccuTrigger and AccuStock.
This gun has been my primary hunting rifle for about 10 years now, and has taken multiple whitetails, mule deer, and a moose with one and done shots. Has grouped very well with 165gr Speer boat tails, and 150gr Barnes TSXs. The adjustable muzzle brake greatly reduces recoil and makes sighting in a breeze. Would be great for someone who wants the knockdown power of an 06 with reduced recoil. Shows a few bumps and bruises from being a well loved hunting rifle- primarily in the case of the recoil pad that had started to wear down a bit at the toe.
Selling only as I am inherting my Dad's Ruger m77 in the same calibre, and have no need for two 06s.
