Howdy Townpost. I am selling this Remington 3.5inch Super-Mag that I picked up from BassPro in Calgary. I never got around to shooting it but I got a deal on it so I'm willing to let it go for cheaper than usual. This was a store demo gun, which essentially means it was dry cyled and shown to customers a few times. It's more or less a brand new shotgun. There's hardly any wear on it with the exception of some cosmetic blemishes from some small patches of surface rust that formed on the parkerized receiver. I suspect they never oiled it and peoples hands or just some moisture caused it. I cleaned it off and oiled the whole gun. It's pretty smooth even though it's a new gun and hasn't been broken in. The rubber recoil pad is still nice and soft The date code looks like AJ so it's a 2015 production. It was kicking around BassPro for almost 11 years! These regularly retail for $750+tax but occasionally go on sale for $650+tax. So I think $630 with no tax is not a bad deal for an essentially brand new shotgun. The shotgun is located in Calgary AB for local delivery or pickup. Or I can ship it nationwide on the buyer's dime. It's pretty short when broken down, and is light so it should be relatively inexpensive to ship. If you live in Alberta I do get around the province a fair bit throughout the year, so if I happen to be heading to your area maybe we can do a meet up along the way on my travels to save you the shipping costs. Wooden stock and wooden fore stock are both delicately checkered. Well cared for. Has not been fired for many decades. No rust or pitting on any metal parts. Winchester Model 1895 30-40 Krag Ref #1047 This Winchester is a lever action, sporting rifle, round barrel, shotgun style rear stock. Dated 1903. Stock is in good shape, forend has a few chips missing next to metal, the rear stock is excellent, finish is period correct. Original metal recoil pad fits well. Barrel is 28” long with period sights intact. Bore is nice and clean with minimal to no corrosion, excellent rifling top to bottom. Bluing appears original and app. 20% throughout. There are very few minor scratches on metal. Screws are mostly unused, one does appear to have seen a screwdriver but is in very good shape. The lever functions well, safety checks out and the trigger pull, and drop are good. Firing pin is evident. Ejector is intact and tight, and magazine follower is correct. Overall, I grade this firearm as very good and should be fully functional. I did not test with snap caps or fire. Only reasonable offers are considered. Low ball offers will not be responded to.
