Key Identifying Features •  Embossed “US” in an oval on the flap (standard for U.S. Army-issue holsters). •  Brown leather construction. •  Brass flap stud. •  Belt hook on the reverse. •  Leg tie-down thong (the rawhide or leather lanyard loop at the bottom). This shows honest wear (scuffs, dryness, some cracking, and patina), which is consistent with wartime use rather than a modern reproduction (repros are usually cleaner and often explicitly marked as such).
