Reloading package includes: Redding deluxe die set, RCBS precision mic, and Lee factory crimp die - 174 once fired casing, sized, flash hole deburred, and some have federal 215 primers, and ammo boxes - around 400 bullets from 180 to 225 grains - 6 full boxes of ammo (see pic) - my documented reloading data. It is characterized by the button-type barrel release and ejector mounted between the barrels. It is chambered for the .32 rim fire cartridge. The gun is in excellent condition, with original blue intact and the case colors on the frame. The markings are sharp and clear. This is a unique variant with a floating, internal firing pin which rotates a quarter turn with each cocking of the hammer and these are rarely encountered. The 4 bores are good with strong rifling all the way. The black gutta percha grips are excellent and undamaged. SN 5822, excellent overall. Christian Sharps (1811-1874) was one of the best-known firearms designers and manufacturers of the 19th century. Although he never achieved the volumes of Colt, S&W and Remington, Christian Sharps was a major supplier of long arms to the Union during the civil war. His carbines are iconic among civil war collectors. Sharps sporting rifles were extremely popular at the time, and still fetch premium prices to this day. Christian Sharps had a rocky and sometimes acrimonious relationship with his managers and partners, and would leave the Hartford firm in 1853, returning to Philadelphia. I’ve got a tikka t3x chambered in 6.5 creedmoor with a vortex viper hd 5-25x50 mrad mounted in talley extra low rings. The scope also has a vortex throw lever and a scope coat. Rifle is in perfect condition as well as the scope, I just don’t use it anymore. It shoots very well and I’ve had this rifle out to 1005 yards with good consistency using factory ammo. My reason for selling is I don’t use it much anymore and I’ve got some other projects on the go. It has under 100 rounds through it.

It is a fast, accurate, fun shooting little 20 caliber cartridge based off the 222 Remington case that is easy on the shoulder and barrel, cheap to load for too.
