Job Description:
The Daycare at The Lake Louise Ski Resort is a licensed drop in centre serving our skier families and avid recreationists from all over the world. The primary responsibility of a Daycare Attendant is to ensure an enjoyable and safe stay for the children at The Lake Louise Ski Resort Daycare. The attendant will build positive and respectful relationships with children and parents and ensure that equipment and facilities are clean, safe and well maintained.
Job Responsibilities:
Plan and implement activities to meet the physical, emotional, intellectual and social needs of the children in the daycare
Ensure equipment and the facility are clean, well maintained and safe at all times
Be familiar with emergency procedures
Ensure children are supervised at all times
Prepare nutritious snacks and lunches
Develop & maintain good customer relations with families enrolling children
Clearly and effectively communicate in a manner that children understand
Job Requirements/Qualifications:
Level 2 or 3 Alberta Early Childhood Educator Certification is required (see website for details https://www.alberta.ca/child-care-staff-certification.aspx)
Previous work or school experience in Childcare and Early Education is essential
All International applicants must have proof of Canada-approved medical examination and clearance in order to be considered for this position
First Aid certification is required
Ability to communicate with people sensitively, tactfully, diplomatically, and professionally at all times
Ability to be calm in a hectic working environment
Ability to work efficiently as part of a team as well as independently
High level of sound and independent judgment, reasoning, and discretion
Must be energetic, resourceful and friendly
Cash handling experience
Strong communication skills and a second language is considered an asset
A Vulnerable Sector Police Background Check from your home country or province will be required upon commencement of employment

We will provide your child with a wide range of activities that will leave them with great memories and new friendships!
CAMPS:
“ANIMAL PLANET” Pre-school (3-5yrs) - 10:00-11:30 am - $135
“GLOW PARTY- NEON 80’s Elementary Junior Camp (6-11 yrs) - this group will be
split into 2 groups) - 9:00 am-12:00 pm - $235
“LIGHTS CAMERA ACTION” - Intermediate/Senior Camp (12-17 yrs) - this group will
be split according to age and levels) - 1:00-4:00 pm - $235 - This group will participate in
making a dance video, modeling and creating headshots!
Intensive Camp (12-17 yrs) - 4:30-6:00 pm – *add on $85 - this add on is for dancers
who have danced before and would like more intense training and challenges at the end of the first three days only (Monday - Wednesday)
Our summer dance intensives are meant to get dancers conditioned and prepared for the upcoming dance season, with a focus on stretch, strength, conditioning and tech tune up. Intensive camp will also focus on the whole dancer and important topics to help build resilience in each participant.
We end the week with an in-studio sharing celebration where friends and family are invited to watch and share with the campers the fruits of their hard work throughout the week.
