This gun was manufactured in Czechoslovakia in 1966 prior to BRNO being bought out by CZ (now manufactured in the U.S). It's an excellent shooter especially with match grade ammo. Mechanically it's perfect and cycles rounds smoothly. If you are looking for a first 22 for a kid/grandchild or wanted a forever gun for yourself, these BRNO's are an excellent choice. It has the typical handling marks on the stock of a hunting gun, but no cracks or deep gouges. The bluing is very good with no rust of pitting. It has the express sights for multiple range options.
