I’m definitely on the fence about this one, I have a Left Handed Browning medallion Xbolt in 30-06. I bought it used. I haven’t sighted it in a shot a few rounds through it but that’s about it. As for the condition, it’s definitely seen some use, it’s the way I got it when I bought it. I’ll probably give it a 7/10. The only reason why I’m considering selling is I have another rifle project, im looking to fund. The downside of selling this is I also have a shit ton of ammo for it so I’m still on the fence not to mention, Good luck trying to find a left-handed rifle these days. One of the earliest makers of bulldog-type, double action revolvers, the Iver Johnson American Bull Dog is well known and in demand. These were made by Johnson's and the relief grip showing the American eagle on a shield is typical of Johnson's ware. ​ This one is in very fine to excellent condition, with 99% original nickel. The action is accurate and strong, and the cylinder indexes and locks properly with no play. The bore of the 2 1/2-inch barrel is good with strong rifling throughout. The black hard-rubber grips are excellent and undamaged. SN 2407, excellent overall. History & Background Iver Johnson (1841-1895) was a Norwegian gunsmith who came from Bergen to America in 1863. He found work immediately at Ethan Allen's factory in Worcester, Mass. where he met Martin Bye. Johnson worked at Allen's through the civil war years, as demand for firearms was high, and work was plentiful. By 1871 Johnson and Bye had decided to venture out on their own and founded Johnson Bye & Co. in Worcester, moving to Fitchburg by 1891. Selling/trading a Marlin 30 AS 30-30. Overall it's in good shape. JM stamped, 20" barrel. Bluing shows well on the majority of the rifle with the exception of the right hand side of the receiver where it looks like moisture sat on it and took of the finish, has lightly freckled as seen in pictures. Wood stocks are in nice shape, some light finish loss and handling marks throughout and one fairly decent rub on the left side of the forestock. Bore is excellent. Comes topped with a Tasco 3-9x40 scope with 1" Weaver rings. Front sight is present, rear sight is not. Looking for $950 shipped. Insurance by request on buyer. Open to all trades.
