WW1 era (Pre-1918) Austrian-Hungarian M1895 Bayonet with Scabbard – Steyr.Austrian M1895 Bayonet for the Steyr Mannlicher M1895 Rifle
It has the Steyr Trademark marked on the blade as well as on the scabbard frog guard.
OE over WG
The opposite side of the blade has the Austrian Imperial Eagle marked on it.
The Frog Guard has both of the above markings.
The Release Button works smoothly.
The end of the Pommel has the number 7558 stamped on it.
The Guard has the number 4233 stamped on it.
Believed to have been refurbished by the Bulgarians postwar when a new serial number was added to the Guard.
The blade is unsharpened with some small nicks located between 1 ½´and 3 ¼” in front of the guard.
The Bayonet is housed in a black-finished steel scabbard with frog stud and ball tip.

Length of Grip including the Guard – 4 7/16”
Blade Length – 9 ¾”
